Target Food Distribution Center, Rialto CA

There is a sign when you check in saying it might take 4 hrs to unload, but it's already 8 hrs and counting. It is ridiculous try to avoid this place if you can.

Security was nice, appointment for 4am arrived at 3: 45am…got a door right away and was out by 4: 45am…thanks target!

Horrible delivery facility.
It takes forever to get unloaded.
And the person at the receiving windows has no respect for drivers.

Slow unloading 10.5h, rejected freight because product sell by date was less than a year from today's delivery date

My appointment time was 5: 00 pm
Got in at 4: 00 pm at door by 4: 15 pm
Now its 12: 30 am (next day). They took 8: 30 hours to unload a trailer
Idk what is the meaning of appointment?

Not sure about dry loads, and I can’t recall how they were the last time I was here for the frozen section, BUT this time they were absolutely ridiculous. Appointment time 3am, got a door right away but told to wait until 3: 30 for the receiving window to open. At 3: 40, one of the workers told all of us 8 drivers waiting in the lobby “Another half hour. They just came in”. There’s a sign saying “60 mins late to your appointment might require rescheduling”. If the receiving clerks don’t start working until 4am, why do they even schedule unloading at 3am?

Nice staff, too can check in 1 hour before your appointment in the evening shift, they are understaffed and gave me a paper explaining that I’ll be there at least 4-6 hours but it was only 3, other drivers get 7-8 hours so be prepared, just need to check in in the guard shack and they give instructions to the office and in the office they give you door or spot to wait door they will keep a copy of your BOL and give you back the whole BOL and you just need to wait for the green light, no need to go back to the office just wait for the green light and text message and you’re done, ready to get out there.

They have signs posted about unloading delays. Yes they are slow 5+ hours. Very nice people, just very slow unloading detention for sure. Checked in at 0720 for 0800 appointment, got door at 0800 checked out at 1320.

If the check in employee in office would actually do his job and not talk to the office girl about home life and personal stuff the office probably would not have a line out the door, after I finally got out of window couple other local drivers said he does the same thing every day.

Besides that everyone is very friendly, getting in the driveway is crazy trucks park on both sides of the driveway making it harder for two trucks to get in and out. It took them 8 1/2 hours to unload. I was here at 03: 00 got a green light at 12: 15 pm now just waiting for them to call and say go! Very extra slow in unloading don’t be on a pre plan because you will loose your pre plan load!

I was 45 min late they said I had to reschedule but it wasn’t there fault they are short handed and hopefully can get in there today I know it can be difficult to reschedule at times but aye I can hope

Great experience for me I was an hour late they put me straight in a door very friendly folks

4 hours just to get a door, do not come here, the only good thing about this place is that security is nice.
