European Restaurant Tartine reviews
13Love their berry tart deserts and tiramisu pieces! It’s must visit spot every time we’re in the city to see the skyline views! Highly recommend!
Had a very nice lunch. The staff was helpful and friendly. Those I lunched with enjoyed their meals. I had my first croque monsieur, and it was fantastic. I'll be having that again for sure.
Very nice cafe with very friendly service. Great bread and butter, Charcuterie plate and salad. It is across from the Central Park in a very nice area. It was very relaxing to be able to sit outside with our dog and enjoy the dinner.
Good food. The menu was limited. Wonderful selection of pastries. Casual friendly atmosphere, but a bit pricey.
We were seated quickly but felt rushed when our orders were taken. The food took longer than expected as we saw other tables get their food first even though they arrived after us. My turkey panini was good but plain but the side salad was good. We weren’t given utensils until after our plates arrived and we had to ask for them. I would try a bakery or cafe in the downtown or Hillcrest area for a better experience.
Picked up some coffee and pastries to eat in the park on a peaceful, bright morning. There was a bit of a line and the baked goods are a little pricey but it was a great experience
Tartine's is a hidden gem in Coronado! The food is made in-house & so delicious! Try the soup, pasta, chicken & the freshest salads! The chef keeps it real.he knows what he's doing, & you will feel spoiled by the staff!
Loved to come to tartine just arrived in town we visit 2 months out of the year in Coronado we love to visit your restaurant we came in today and left due to how we were treated we came in to purchase your preserves, salad dressing and pastries and desserts we were told after we approached the counter to go to the hostess stand I asked if they still served preserves and bread she told me again to go to the hostess stand and she was not welcoming in her attitude I asked if I had to go to the hostess stand to order to go items she said no after the 2 initial go to the hostess stand and wait I decided to just give up we all felt the lady was not pleasant or welcoming not sure if we will return this trip
Not much for seating inside a little cramped and few seating selections outside, but have some delicious deserts.
Great place to get desert and a coffee. Awesome view of downtown. MJ gave outstanding customer service.
I have been going to this place for years. One of my favorites but in the past 2 years I have been going only 10 percent of the time compared to the past visits. The reason why is because this place is getting petty and taking advantage of their customers. Prices are going way up and there are now no substitutions. Portion size has also gone way down. The final insult was during lunch on Sunday. My husband and I wanted to split a sandwich and a dessert. Our sandwich came on 2 plates with 1/2 on each with side greens on each. Same as it always has been except a bit smaller and more expensive. However, when we got the bill it had a split charge of 3.50. I had never seen that before and it was ridiculous because there was no extra work. Why am I getting punished for wanting a dessert after lunch. I cannot eat a whole sandwich and a dessert. Our bill was over 50 dollars. We should not have had a split charge. I think I will start going to Claytons bakery for now on. They have better prices, larger portions and great food. They never charge a split fee. Goodbye Tartines!
At first you would think of this place as a coffee and pastry shop but the also serve "real" food. I have not eaten their dinner menu but the food looked amazing.
A must stop place in Coronado. Excellent service and friendly staff. They have great vegetarian options and wide array of baked goodies. We had dinner here and had the roasted veggies & chickpeas salad (best salad ever), roasted beet salad and gnocchi (like little pillows). For dessert we had the raspberry passion fruit tart which was stunning!
