Excellent food! I recommend the place of someone wants to try Nepalese food. Is also quite expensive i think but is worth it.

This place was incredible! The owner Bonita was so kind to us, she personally went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted and I got to eat nostalgic dishes I haven’t had since I was 5 years old - it was very special. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Very average food, unfortunately. Nice people though:) the best thing was the veggie korma, but the momos and chicken dish weren’t good

We went there in between lunch and dinner serving. Overall pretty disappointing experience. Service was terrible and slow, food was very spicy and modest at best. Never again.

Nice vibes little place with good service.i really liked the amount and ease of vegan options.i enjoyed the vegan mango lassi which i haven’t seen in other places before.also really liked the samosa chaat.the saag, aloo gobi, momos, and biryani were all alright.

Food was delicious I had chicken sagg I didn't eat the chicken because I'm going vegetarian I think I offended the host she was very nice and understanding when I explained y didn't eat it the garlic Naan was the best I've had tiki marsala delicious will go back agin when I'm in town

Excellent service, great customer care and awesome atmosphere. Very pleasant greeting and willing to take and act on customer feedback immediately. Liked food last time but unfortunately didn't click this time. Potato parata is good.

The staff were so wonderful and attentive! And the food was excellent. Goat biryani was outstanding

Not somewhere I would personally eat again. The samosa had an odd sulfurous flavor to it and the Chana masala was very watered down and runny. Also the Chana was overcooked and mushy. Not much chana in it, mostly liquid

We love the excellent customer service and delicious food. FYI, credit card charges show up as "TASTE OF THE HI BOISE ID" which isn't intuitive.

This is a family owned restaurant serving all varieties of Indian and Nepalese food. The dry chilli chicken and Himalayan chowmein tasted best and reminded me of the Indo-Chinese flavors growing up in India. Kids loved the cheese paratha. Very good dining experience with the owner constantly checking on us delivering good customer service. The price was reasonable. Will highly recommend anyone visiting Berkeley campus.

Amazing food! The mango lassi was delicious too, and it's nice that they give lentil soup as a starter.

Delicious goat curry served with rice or naan. They gave me garlic naan upon request. The other place I know that serves tasty vegan mango lassi made with coconut milk. Highly recommend.

Pretty expensive for tiny portions, although the food was delicious and the service was good. It was empty when we went, but to be fair it was a Wednesday at 2 pm. The place was fairly nice, however it would have been nicer with a little music since it was awkwardly very quiet. It was also really cold inside. Although the food was tasty, it should have been spicier. We ordered medium and I wouldn’t even call what we got mild. My favorite thing is the many vegan options they have on the menu.

We had ordered goat curry, chicken choila & garlic naan. The goat curry was spicy & awesome in taste. The garlic naan was so soft it reminded me the food of India. We really liked all the food. Really recommended to those who wants to have a good Indian food.
