I am an extremely picky person and probably the most picky person you’ll ever meet. So 4 or 5 out of 5 or anything 7.5 or higher out of 10 is really an achievement for that restaurant. In that case, here is my review, by Nicolas!
I would give this restaurant an 8/10!

The mango one is so good! I love that you can customize your drink to perfection and it is very tastea! However, maybe just a little bit less sugar would be ok as well. The only reason why I took off a star (or 2 if out of 10), is because the service isn’t always perfect and the inside is not the greatest design during busier hours.

Went here on their 5 year anniversary and it was packed but they had a lot of staff to accommodate. I was able to get a tshirt which was only for the first 100 people and even spin the wheel for a prize. My go to drink is the peach me sweetea which I feel you can’t really get anywhere else in San Jose, especially that size and flavor combination. I always get the fries because I like the texture of them and now they added 3 near flavors of bbq, sour cream and onion, and jalapeño lime. The main reason why I go here over every other milk tea spots is online ordering. They have an app and it makes ordering painless. You order and pick up by the time it tells you, in and out.

My daughter just picked up our drinks and my avocado smoothie was like water consistency, but worse than that, the matcha thai milk tea had a piece of metal shaving on the boba. She discovered it after sipping through the straw. Been going there for years and this is unacceptable! Unbelievable! Very dangerous!

I LOVE their teas and smoothies, but their snacks definitely changed both in quality and quantity. We got their fries, and it just taste like stale fries.there weren't any seasoning at all; I couldn't taste anything but fries.

The size disappointedly changed drastically over the years as well. A size regular looks like a size small and cost $8.50, whereas a size large (which looked like the original size before) cost $12.20. Long story short, not worth it. You can also get way better popcorn chicken elsewhere. Tastea's popcorn chicken used to be my favorite, but it's gotten worse:

Service is great and the ambiance is nice!

Drinks are good, but service kind of lacking. They don't allow entering phone number for your rewards account like the other Tastea on Capitol.

don't know why but they always get our order wrong.then puts their boba in a separate cup and making us pour it in ourselves.this happened on mulitple occasions and they refused to litewally just put it in the drink for us lol.ridiwulous.

I've tried stevia drinks here before, but I just cannot drink them! It leaves such a strange taste in my mouth but to each his own. On the other hand, I am in love with all their fruity drinks, thai tea, and pumpkin pie milk tea!

Waiting for the last 30 minutes to order, it looks they have a planned event but the staff is not enough to accommodate the event.

This is my go-to boba spot when I'm lazy to drive anywhere further from where I live. This place is conveniently close to where I live and I love their app which makes it easy to order for pick-up. My usual order is their matcha Thai milk tea and sometimes matcha coffee. Drinks are more on the sweet end, so it's best to lower the sugar level down just a bit. The coffee is mild and not too strong, which is perfect for those who just need a mid-day pick-me-up but do not want to be wired throughout the night. Lastly, go big or go home and order their 32 oz!

Had their Calamari, so delicious. Perfectly prepared, very tender and flavorful. Service was prompt and courteous.
