This place failed my daughter’s first birthday party.
I messaged Tastries Bakery through Instagram 4 days before the event to confirm the details of the cake. They gave me an estimated price which I agreed on even if it could increase. I followed up with messages every day but they would just leave me on read. The day of the event I called them around 2pm and they said the cake would be ready by 4pm. Our special event was at 5pm. I got to Tastries Bakery around 4: 30pm where they spent 15 minutes trying to find my cake that wasn’t made because they never asked for payment.
They put the blame on me saying the payment was never sent YET they never asked for any payment (which I would have gladly sent).
They failed to remember that we agreed that the final price was going to be given to me the day I receive the cake. They never asked for a payment prior to the event.
Tastries Bakery needs to work on their communication within their employees and with their customers and not leave them wondering if their cake is going to be made or not.

What an Amazing place. Every person that in this bakery is so kind and loving. Kathy treated our cake tasting with so much knowledge and beneficial Information. We learned so much about choosing cake, and deserts for my beautiful daughter’s wedding. This IS the bakery to use for any occasion?

Called from Texas to have a cake prepared and delivered to a hospital to celebrate my Great grandson birth. It was beautiful and delivered his name, date of birth and weight displayed on it. Unfortunately when the cake was delivered the babie's weight info was smeared and illlegible. Unfortunately things happen beyond Others control but what remained was absolutely beautiful. Thank you Ms Rosemary for your professional assistance and all you did for us.

Very pretty store with nice decorations and cakes. Plenty of variety, stuffed toys your little one will love. Also their cakes taste delicious

I would highly recommend Tastries Bakery. My wedding cake came out even more beautiful than I imagined and it was delicious. Everyone loved the cake. The best experience I had while planning my wedding, everyone at the shop was so nice and great customer service. The owner was so sweet and helpful. She even gave us a wedding packet for homework, and we loved it.

Amazing birthday cakes! Beautiful and delicious. Tastries is my go to when it comes to birthday cakes. The amount of details is impeccable, and I am always in awe when I pick up the cake!

Overpriced for the quality not to mention the staff gives off a racist vibe. Definitely didn't get the same happy treatment as some of the light skinned customers

I never post reviews but I left this place so upset and felt I was treated unfairly that I must post a review. I was a previous customer. We loved their cake. We decided to do a cake testing appointment for my daughter's and niece's sweet 16. Our appointment was at 1 p.m. They had us wait till 1: 36 p.m. We received no apology. Cathy simply stated to us that she was ready for us. We started with questions about the event how many people, what kind of cake etc. We only wanted two two tier cakes because we're having a dessert table. Cathy pulls out her binder with her desserts list. I stated to her that we didn't want any desserts as someone else was taking care of that. She started to explain to us that we wouldn't be able to purchase a cake unless we also ordered the desserts from her. She stated that she had a bad experience in the past that someone else put the dessert table together and wasn't up to her standard and received a bad review. She was not going to allow that to happen. Unless we posted a disclaimer sign infront of the dessert table stating the persons business name and information. Then proceeded to inquire if that person was a professional. I felt that her needs are put first instead of the customers needs. This is a special event that is very important for my daughter and niece. Cathy didn't really care. I shouldn't be given an ultimatum making me purchase something I don't need in order to get what I'm wanting to purchase. I will not be coming back.

They did a good job on these spooky themed strawberries for Valentine’s Day. Only giving 4 stars because my husband said their communication wasn’t the best. They didn’t respond to his email regarding his request. He had to call to follow up.

These hateful cakes taste unbelievably pure. You can just feel that ooey gooey judgement exploding in your mouth. Rotten to the taste, it’s undeniably unchristian.
