Tawakal Halal Tandoori Restaurant, West Hills CA

Restaurant is over all in good shape, Food some items are 10/10 like garlic Naan, kata kat, tandoori chicken, even Daal but some items and just below average, As an instance, I did a Togo order for Haleem (Daleem) but it was over loaded with salt. And poorly packed.
Customer service is great.
I am hoping for a better experience next time with Haleem.

Customer service is so bad. The guy who in the cashier thinks he gives the food for free. He never use those
words please or thanks.

We had aftaar there and have picked up food multiple times.
Halal chicken Tikka, seekh kababs are always good.
Would really want them to have gan'nay ka ras (sugar cane juice) in their menu.

So here's the deal, this is how their customer service work, for this old guy with gray beard I mean the owner if you are a pretty women then you nailed it, you get the best customer service but if you are ugly or a man like me then don't bother going and eating there, I always noticed this old guy who looks like so called Mullah stares at people's wives and daughters.

Clean and quiet place to dine in. Stuffs are friendly. Good for people who don’t want to miss there prayers. They have a small room for prayers. Foods are delicious. Reasonable prices of the foods. Thank you.

For Namaaz they have seperate space.
They serve fresh and the food is authentic desi.

The food here is AMAZING. We took recommendations from the server and we were not disappointed. Cannot wait to go back and try more of the amazing food.

Love the lamb biriyani and Kadai ghosht here. Do try their kheer. I keep wanting to go back every week.

I grew up eating Biryani and I know how a biryani is cooked. I ordered lamb biryani and all they did was mixed lamb curry and white rice. It wasn’t even the rice that is typically used for biryani. And I was charged $1 more than what is listed in the website. Disappointed… I checked the reviews and the biryani pictures that were posted by customers. The biryani offered to me was nothing closer to what other customers posted with 5 stars. Never go to this place. They forget that customers must be served with good food to keep customers.

Wished, instead of cooking by Mexican cooks, owner Ali still cooking like he did 30 years ago at his previous Topanga & Devonshire location.

Surprisingly good food.food was fresh and cooked professionally.first time tried this place. The taste of food didn’t stop us to visit again the next day.
The owner is a friendly person he cooks with passion.

We ordered the Reshimi Chicken Kabob and half of the pieces were RAW. I told the owner that the chicken wasn’t cooked properly, and he came and cut up pieces of chicken from my plate to confirm whether the chicken was raw and admitted himself the Chicken wasn’t cooked properly. Despite this, we were offered NOTHING in exchange for receiving raw food. NO refund, NO apology, and NO food in place of the raw chicken. Here’s a pic of the food we were served.

The food is perfect, very tasty and one of the best I have had for long time. However Styrofoam is being used for the to-go and it seems to melt into the food. Request non styrofoam if you order to go. Stay healthy.

Best place to have Pakistani food MashahAllah.
Everything was awsome and I loved the karahi gosht Garlic naan and Haleem. We will be back definitely inshallah. Excellent and fast service.

The new place is clean, big and cordial. I like most of their offerings, my personal favorite is their pita wrap.

Always excellent food, Abdul the owner is an excellent chef, courteous and the food he conjures up is a feast for kings.
