The staff are more like family who genuinely care about each and every person who walks through those doors.

Sensei Fariborz is truly a wonderful man who really listens to you and is wise beyond his years.
I trained under him in the late 90s and you don’t just learn how to kick and punch. He also encourages you to think outside the box and create.
In essence, Life Lessons.
Since then I have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. When our program lost its gym during the pandemic i reached out to Sensei for help.
Thanks to him, myself and many of my friends now can continue to fight the good fight

My kids started taking classes at TKC in 2008. Their journey took them through so many phases of their lives. The studio was always a place they could call home. So it wasn’t until they left to attend school away from home that I invaded their space and began studying on my own. I work hard, I sweat, my body remembers things my mind has forgotten. And, when all is said and done, I feel great. The “life lessons” that are taught and learned under the leadership of Sensei Fariborz will stay with me and my children for a lifetime. Team Karate Center has become an extension of our family. Our whole family enjoys the classes where we learn various techniques in martial arts along with life lessons and how we can contribute to our community.

Walking into Team Karate Centers in March of 1993 was definitely the beginning of a journey that would reshape my life, my mentality, my training and created a foundation for me and my family. Aside from the incredible lessons on and off the mat, this journey brought me an entire new family and became a sanctuary. Life long lessons learned, gifts allowing us to experience a myriad of martial art styles and interact with amazing instructors. This experience has been priceless. I tried many karate centers for my 9 years old kid. We love team karate center the most. Sensei are knowledgeable, respectful and funny. This is the only place I have seen which provides quality training. We recently moved out of California the greatest loss for us is Team karate center.

The employees are always friendly and helpful! Very understanding when we forget something or arrive late.

Excellent experience! The Sensei and all the teachers are great. They are knowledgeable, explain well, encouraging and funny. The other people there are really kind and friendly. Because of Covid, some mixed classes are available for kids and adults, and these are the most fun for me. Those kids can kick butt!

My daughter and I attended TKC from 2005 through 2009. She was only 5-years-old when she started and I joined a year later. In October of 2009 we went through the 1st degree black belt testing together and received our black belts on the same day. I have to say, those 3-4 years of training side by side with my little girl were some of the best times of my life. Not only we achieved a great goal together, but that special bond that was created between us will be ours forever. TKC is truly a life experience worth the time and every penny.
