My computer recently installed an incomplete update. I couldn't reinstall the previous version, so I had it taken in. They encountered the same problem of an incomplete update, but they were able to fix it by installing a new hard drive and they saved every photo on my computer (I'm a photographer, so that detail was incredibly important to me). I basically got back a brand new computer for a very reasonable price. I'm very happy with the quality of service that I received!

This is the second time I used TechEase, and I was happy with the results both times. Today, I expected to leave my PC overnight, but they called two hours after I dropped it off and told me it was finished. The remote diagnosis was quick and efficient. I like these folks. They communicate clearly and take time to explain. They also do MACs.

Highly recommend this place. Fixed my broken screen and LCD for a ridiculously competitive price in about 10 minutes. You honestly can't beat that. Highly pleased with the service

I just had a most satisfactory experience with Justine, a tech at TechEase. Not only did he perform the necessary service in record time, but without my asking, took pictures of the before and after situation. I really appreciated this, since the “insides” of a laptop computer are not easily visible to the average user. As always, Ann was polite and cheerful. A pleasure doing business with these folks.

Running a business is never easy, but with the Teach Ease team I never have to worry about the computers or routers at our three locations. We have been using them for over 10 years. The fan for my laptop started to wear out / run down and it was OBVIOUS. I can swap out a fan for a computer but not a laptop so I took it to TechEase and asked that they order a fan and replace it. They refused stating they wouldn't do any work unless they were able to do a diagnostic on my laptop and charge a fee (I think around 70 bucks?). I understand the need for these kinds of fees but my situation was different. I told them I didn't need a diagnosis, just the fan replaced but they said they wouldn't do any work unless they could do a diagnosis and charge the fee. I repeated that the problem was obvious, that the diagnosis would only take seconds and paying close to 70 bucks for a few seconds of diagnosis wasn't reasonable. Despite my stance, they wouldn't just install a new fan and because they knew I needed their help this additional fee they were requiring felt like extortion. I really felt forced to have to pay this completely unnecessary fee! I thought about it for a minute and decided to go ahead and pay the diagnostic anyway because, "they got me and I had no choice. " I started to turn over my laptop and asked how long would they'd need it for the diagnostic. I was told it would take several days! I remarked it wasn't practical for me to give up my laptop for several days to evaluate a problem I already knew what the issue was and in a few seconds. They told me that I wasn't their only customer and that there was a stack of computers to get through first. This I understood too because computer repairs can be time consuming except that the two clerks were absolutely unapologetic about it. I told them I work essentially 70 hours a week and couldn't afford to have the laptop gone for several days, then wait more days for a fan to come in, and wait whatever time they required to do the install. They unsympathetically told me that if I wanted my laptop fixed then that's what I'd have to do.

I just walked out of there, spent five minutes and ordered a new fan online but didn't have time for learning how to do the install myself. Of course a week later my fan finally gave out and my computer overheated and crashed. I guess I got what I deserved.

Terrible service, no common sense, unreasonable/scamming policies, and slow repair times. Most of the company's five star reviews seem to be from 2 or more years ago. I suspect service has gone down hill since then and I'd skip on this place every time.

Excellent service! Knowledgeable, on time, clear communication, professional and courteous. I work in tech and am very computer literate. TechEase helped with a stuck Windows update that I just couldn't resolve myself. Nice to know there is a place I can trust.

Terrible. Don't waste your time or money. I had a screen replaced on my PC, and after returning it I noticed there was 2 dead pixels in the screen. They said this was standard an they could not replace THEIR mistake because it is standard, and said they would only fix it if the 2 dead pixels were closer together, or more of them. Whatever, right? 2 Dead pixels not the end of the world. Also, I noticed the hinges were loose when I got the computer back. Well fast forward now, my computer is falling apart at the hinge due to their horrible repair, and they've completely ruined my PC, beyond it's repair cost worth. Of course with the computer illiteracy in Santa Barbara they'll probably do fine. Good luck with your horrible service.

I own a local web based business and am completely reliant on my computer. Techease has proven time and time again to be the best at diagnosing my computer problems, repairing them quickly and efficiently at an affordable price, and explaining the issues to me in a manner that I completely understand. They are personable, knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend them and would go to noone else now with my computer questions, issues and needs.

Evan from TechEase came out to my house and replaced the power supply on my computer. Evan was courteous, professional, and efficient, and arrived here at the scheduled time. Setting up an appointment was easy.

Evan, Nicole, and the entire staff have been handling my computer needs for several years and just bought a new computer for my business. Evan set it up with all my P. O. S.software and transferred my data from old computer. It was done quickly and efficiently! I was ready to throw my old computer out the window, but as usual Evan and Techease to great care of me! I recommend them for ALL your business needs, small or large.

The staff was friendly and very understanding! I had a corrupted hard drive with no back up and was very nervous about the recovery process. While my drive was in the shop, they made sure to keep in contact with progress reports. Luckily it was a simple recovery and only a few days later, I had a new drive with all my data recovered! I couldn't be happier! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I would highly recommend this company. Evan was able to help diagnose my laptop problem and gave me great advice. Although TechEase did not actually repair my computer problem for me, they were able to give me great advice on how to get it fixed and save a lot of money in the process. Thanks again for the unbiased advice! I'd definitely recommend this company!

I would highly recommend TechEase to anyone who needs assistance with their computers. They were recommended to me by a good friend and were very responsive to my request for help which I appreciate since I run a small business from my home office! I had numerous issues I needed help with and Pablo took care of all of them very efficiently. I am back up and running more effectively and I can't thank him enough!

This company is one of the best companies that i have ever had the pleasure of contacting.evan, david and the others are kind, patient, intelligent, efficient and truly outstanding professionals in their field.my first contact with them was when i was running a local non-profit.they were always so helpful, so reasonable with fees, and so that when i had problems as an individual, i contacted them.again, i cannot recommend them more highly.they are truly the best.

TechEase is by far the BEST tech support I have worked with. They are extremely professional, knowledgable, educated, fast, reasonably priced.as well as VERY friendly and patient. My needs are always addressed timely and completely - they make me feel like I am their "most important Client" every time. They always keep in mind what is best for me and my businesses with great advice and recommendations (and have the parts/computers FOR me). I wouldn't use anyone else and I only refer them. The best! Love you guys!

I've been using TechEase for several years now and have never had anything less than a stellar experience. I'm the guy who usually calls with an emergency and want it fixed yesterday, and they take care of me time and time again. I have owned a few businesses and am not a high-dollar account by any means, yet they still take care of me like I am a major account. I have bought three separate computer systems from them over the years and am always surprised that a company like that can have such good pricing. I honestly can't say enough about these guys, I have recommended them to friends and colleagues time and time again. TechEase really feels like a throwback from days gone by where businesses treated customers with great service and a friendly attitude. You just don't find that anymore, and I feel lucky to have found these guys.
