Telegraph Arts reviews
11Sophie the property manager has been very caring, understanding and proffesional. She made me feel heard, has made the community spaces more welcoming. Mahogany sets the mood for the entire building and has made it very fun living here! Mahogany has been one of the best leasing agents I've ever encountered and made it an easy, smooth and most importantly a stressfree process. When in doubt ask for Sophie and Mahogany:)
The staff is super friendly and helpful. The apartments itself are great. Any issue are resolved super quick. Overall it great to stay here
Mahogany has been a huge help. From when I originally toured the building in June 2022 to now, she constantly goes above and beyond for the residents in a professional and timely manner. I've enjoyed living in Telegraph Arts thus far and I really believe my experience living here would be different without her.
Lived here for 3 years once the building opened. Ausun, the on-site facilities & maintenance manager, is incredible and really makes the community. He is happy to help with any apartment or building (and sometimes personal) related issue and will always bring a smile to your face. He knows everyone in the building. I moved and will truly miss Ausun
The apartments are nice, pretty standard for a newer luxury building.
Response time from the office got better with time. There were some bad stretches during transitions (existing office manager quit the weekend the building also switched management). It’s much better now (but you don’t always get a response in 24h) which is what a lot of residents expect
Ausan, on the other hand, is great and is quick to respond to maintenance issues
I moved to Telegraph Art in September 2019. I lived in apartment 419 for 3 years. Everything was EXCELLENT. But I decided to move to a different apartment in the same building. I needed something a bit bigger due to the type of work I do. Mahogany started the process very smoothly for me. She guided me throughout the whole application process. She’s professional and knowledgeable.
Sanjeeta Lal, the building manager, without wasting any time, approved my application and put me in my new apartment. The process was super smooth.
Some things I love about this building/Management.
The management is on time with a request.
Frequent maintenance/cleaning. They have a cleaner (s) coming in like every other day to make sure every floor is clean and clear. Each floor looks like a 5 star hotel floor. This is what I’ve heard from several friends that had visited.
The rooftop is amazing and has an amazing view. You can see almost the whole Oakland and Bay Bridge in 360 degrees. On 4th of July, just go to the rooftop and you can see the fireworks around the Bay Area.
There is a nice and well maintained Gym which I use EVERYDAY. Last year 2022, out of 365 days, I went to the gym over 200 days. I love the guy. Hey, it's in the building. All you need is some discipline to get up and go work out.
The Amenity Room /conference / mini lounge. This is where you can either do your work (use it as a remote office). Has WIFI and it’s FREE. It has been very useful for me since I started working. The room's ambience is very sophisticated. Besides, you can entertain your guests. It has big screen TVs and very comfortable and sexy looking couches.
Thanks to Sanjeeta, Mahogany, and Hassan for making my moving smooth.
Absolutely the best experience I have had with a leasing agent. Sophie was welcoming, very informative, personable, understanding and helped me find my new home! Property looks amazing, amenities were awesome, everything was so clean and the place screams "Welcome Home! " I look forward to moving in and experiencing all that Telegraph Arts has to offer!
Really nice and helpful staff! Current management team of Sophie and Mahogany demonstrate top tier professionalism, and care about any resident request, comments, questions, etc. They are always responsive and communicative. Very artsy surroundings, nice rooftop, and modernized inside aesthetic. Great area not too far from BART, bars, grocery markets, and good food.
Mahogany is the best leasing professional! She’s very outgoing, knowledgeable, and patient. She sets the vibe for the entire building and all around has been very helpful with everything. Also Sophie has been very understanding and caring of when we talked to her. Ask for Mahogany she’ll take care of you!
These apartments were incredible when we first moved in (2019). Then they slowly started going to trash once pandemic hit.
We lived here two years and there were at least 3 or 4 changes of front office people then at the end, a new management company took over and well let's just say we moved out Deccemeber of 2021 and here it is May 2022 and I still haven't been able to get my deposit back. They never answer the phone and they take weeks to return my calls. Pretty awful.
Truly a terrible move out and final 6 months of living. When you pay a premium you expect SOMETHING. Understandably given the pandemic a lot of amenities were not available. But even with 2 people in the office you cannot get a response to an email. I moved out and gave 2 months notice in person, by email and by phone and no one responded. I did it again 1 month before move out, i checked in 2 weeks before via email and phone and was ignored countless times and when I would run into someone in the lobby would reach a blasé attitude and be told everything was fine. I move out cant get a hold of anyone to get my keys etc.no reach out. A week after i call and say i expect my deposit or some sort of email by 21 days. Nothing. Email them after the legal limit of 21 days and they say “well, we need 10 days after move out to process paper work” and to basically hang tight. I don’t know what happened to the previous building management which was attentive and lovely but I’m calling renters rights tomorrow because this place is wild out of pocket.
