Templeton Pizza and Greek Food reviews
7 After several friends insisted we try the hot pastrami sandwich at this hole-in-the-wall pizza place in downtown Templeton, we finally relented.and I'm really glad we did.
This is not your usual hot pastrami on a french roll, it's served Gyro style on a folded pita (tasted homemade) with tzatziki (I think), lettuce and tomatoes. Okay, but why so good? The pita is fresh, soft and flavorful, not that dusty stuff you get at the store. The pastrami is lean and tender with crispy, caramelized edges and there's plenty of it. The lettuce is crisp, the sauce freshly made. Just a really good sandwich. And just as an aside - they make their falafels fresh and are really yummy too.
Place is old and sorta tries to be a pizzajoint that offers Greek food. Had the Gyro and it was good but made with frozen meat. No water, they make you buy a bottle.not good PR.
Best Greek food and pizza best in the area and their Greek food truck is the best. Everything they make is fresh to order nothing is pre-cooked
And the grape leaves are homemade
And there baklava is also homemade and is delicious
I had only eaten from the owners food truck at the Paso Robles Horse Park. This was my first time in the restaurant. I always have a nice conversation with the owner and the food is awesome! The space itself is very dated and shabby but has a homey feel. Can't beat the food!
The best pizza in town, awesome service, friendly staff, thank you for your kindness, keep it up guys.
Not friend not clean Greek salad where was the Greek olives and feta it sucked and had a pita sandwich which was ok but itt was pricey for what you got. Can’t believe they are in business
What a friendly staff, and what fresh food. The tabooli and the falaffel were perfect and filling.
The dessert! - Oh just come anmd try it!
The small market stock things you won't find in other markets.

Come and enjoy it - In the tiny town of Templeton.
