Tender Greens, Irvine CA

I was hoping for more flavor out of their food we ordered. Lacking needed flavor on their dishes. Tender Greens is an okay place, but not one I would go out of my way to go back to eat at.

I went to Tender Greens for lunch today. Food was very good. Meat roasted to perfection and the vegetables fresh. Big praise to my waitress Elle! Very good and friendly advice! I will be happy to come again.

You choose your food then you pay for it at another register. They have good agua fresca which changes flavors consistently and if you done in you get unlimited refills. Their ahi tuna plate and backyard marinated steaks are my favorite entrees, and their mashed potatoes are delicious and buttery as well. Despite the name of the chain, the restaurant does not only sell veggies. They also have an easy takeout system.

Elle at the front register with her cute British accent and wonderful smile was a lovely way to start our experience at Tender Greens. Fernando was also super attentive and helpful as he got us some extra items that we needed. Food was healthy and delicious as always! Kudos to the charming manager as well!

Tender Greens has the most AMAZING food! And the staff is the best! Make sure you meet Elle from England while you're there. She thinks she's lost her accent, but she totally hasn't Everyone is helpful with food suggestions and very attentive to your needs. Run, don't walk to Tender Greens. You won't be sorry!

Had a great experience here and our waiter, Gialan, was amazing! We had great service thanks to him and overall it was a wonderful atmosphere to sit down and spend time in!

I prefer my Tender Greens in SD, but this location wasn't bad. I really liked the location.

I ordered the fried chicken dish with rice and mash potatoes. The potatoes and rice were fine.but the chicken? One regular sized piece and one tiny ball, over friend and too crunchy. For over 15$… I had ordered my previous time via delivery and it was 3 times the chicken- but VERY salty!
Please be consistent with how much chicken you give someone. Chicken is the main dish! I really wanted to love this place. Now we won’t be eating here again.

Not really a fan of the new Happy Vegan salad.the different ingredients they use in the new version are just sort of boring.can we get back the original please or at least an option of it?

and the falafel seemed more like a pastry than something made out of garbanzo beans

I like their salad with mashed potatoes and Salmon here but one is looking at nearly $19 for that which is not all that cheap. Food though is good. The lemon vinaigrette dressing is also quite good. I come here quite often to eat lunch. No cash accepted here and the portions are not all that big for $19. Salmon here is generally good but Salmon is not all that hard to cook. I normally ask for a mix of their romaine lettuce with butter lettuce for the salad with tomatoes and avocados along their lemon vinaigrette dressing.

Been a hit or a miss here with mashed potatoes often tasting watered down.

I'm wondering what happened tonight. My husband picked up two soups to go. He ordered "rustic chicken soup"; my order was "spring white bean and chicken". My husband searched in vain for chicken. What he found was two small pieces of chicken skin and lots of little twigs and sticks from herbs. I was lucky, my soup did have chicken. However, there were 0 white beans. NOT EVEN ONE. Nonetheless, it was not bad.

Unfortunately, this experience has taught us to search elsewhere for take out food.

24 hr fast later. I decided on this spot as is my favorite. Only to be told "we are out of Romain" sorry! Please Please post a sign or fly a banner lol waste of time and energy coming here#hangry.

I love Tender Greens the price is not bad especially for the healthy delicious food.you always feel like your body is saying YES thannnnk you when you eat there
