If you order for delivery don’t get the water bottles because you pay $1.75 for a TINY WATER. To give context a 48 pack is $12 retail so essentially you pay a 700% mark up on water. That should give an indication that they are entirely over priced for mediocre food and drink options

Vegan bowl was so good! Everything, especially the falafel, was hot and fresh. The sauces were really good too. I feel full but not heavy. Great to have delicious and healthy options like this

Honestly this review is just for the flow of pickup orders. Walk in, long line… unclear whether I can skip the line for pickup order. Seems chaotic. Should have a sign somewhere for pick up orders. Not the biggest deal in the world but still, pretty disorganized. Also the order said it would be ready at 6: 19 pm and was actually ready at 6: 43.

I usually like to stop here after picking up my groceries from trader joe’s to take home an easy dinner.the cashier is always incredibly sweet and helpful.my favorite salad is the baby spinach and i just learned that you can buy their dressings in bulk! All week i’ve been having my favorite salad for lunch and it has hit the spot.

The food is decent, not as good as anything I cook at home but maybe when I’m lazy and cook something ok then it’s equal to this food here, which is why I think this place is EXTREMELY overpriced. This is very average food, the portions are small, and if you want something similar just go to SweetGreens where the portions are larger and the food is better.

Person taking our order was not familiar with answering any type of questions! It was difficult to try to find out what types of sauces they had for the entrees. I had the buttermilk fried chicken which was very good. My husband had the Mediterranean salad when he really loved. The employees however were not super helpful at all.

Solid location, healthy food, and phenomenal staff. I order for pick up, Jarod helped me when I came in. He was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Happy Vegan (I am not vegan) and it’s always solid. The green drink is also great as well as the chicken soup. I have never had anything I didn’t like here.

There were long hairs (plural) woven into my sweet potatoes. The chef was fake and phony when I told them, acting like a robot. This location used to be great. Never coming back.

I would not recommend tender greens to anyone. It was extremely overpriced, average food, small portions, and the amount of lettuce they gave me as a salad was a joke. You will be better off eating at sweetgreens.

The food at Tender Greens's Liberty Station, San Diego, Ca is very good but observed employees do not use customer service in smiles with greeting you to their restaurant. Employees should always greet their guest when coming into their restaurant. The Tender Greens's manager should take note of this as every time I come there the employees behind the counter do not welcome you as they are too busy with food items. There is another item to bring up, the cookies are too hard as though made a few days ago and are hard need to make fresh cookies each day not left overs from a few days ago should be soft and moist.thanks. I like Tender Greens so, please manager take note to correct this situation.

I have been here a few times now and each time I say I won't come back. I decided to give it another go and thought I would come right when they opened. My thought was the food would be super hot and fresh. I walked in and was the first customer of the day. I ordered the steak, mashed potatoes, veggies and bread. I was so hopeful and disappointed so fast. The steak was literally cold. How is this possible if they just opened? When was my steak actually cooked? Needless to say it was medium well and was so tough I couldn't eat it. The veggies were definitely the best thing on the plate but as you see in the photo they gave me very little. The bread is supposed to be this toasted bread but was just a cold piece of bread. The mashed potatoes were good, just cold again. I just don't know if they pre-make everything ahead of time? I just don't understand why it wasn't at least warmed up. So the staff was friendly and the restaurant itself has a good vibe and is always clean. I am just disappointed with the price of food and the quality I keep getting. I am not sure if I'll be back.

Good food. I had the steak, mashed potatoes & veggies. Avocado toast was okay. The star should have been the avocado. The cheese was overpowering the avocado & there was only a little avocado. The ice tea was good. Great staff. They are cashless so be prepared to bring a card. Will definitely be back.

I really enjoy the food at all their restaurants. This one in particular, although good felt more like a fast food experience. The dishes were served surprisingly fast, which by the taste and texture made me wonder if perhaps were made ahead of time and then assembled upon order received. The meat was cold and the salmon was dry, is why I suspect the former. The staff was very nice, though.

The staff were very friendly and food was good. My only thought is the serving size for the salmon was extremely small, maybe charge a couple more dollars to give a larger portion of salmon.

Going past the Liberty Hill Market area on the way to the airport and decided to drive in and look for a place to eat. We weren’t disappointed. This is a great lunch place. Their Original, a chicken sandwich on ciabatta was delicious. Hubby got the Chef’s Bowl with chipotle bowl and said it was great. Service was fast, helpful and friendly, which always makes the experience even better.

2018-The have changed the Chipotle chicken salad, not as good. Plus, they tried to serve me a brown avocado. No thank you. 8/2022 Another menu change- I eat hear once a year now because the quality of food, cleanliness have declined. Staff here has no idea that the food was once excellent. Today, staff is attentive and thoughtful. I odered the steak plate. The steak is half the portion served in the past, but tasty still. They removed butter lettuce salad option. So, I got a salad that tasted like vinegar and black pepper. It was actually 1 huge leaf that failed getting chopped up. If you like vinegar and pepper, it's ok. But, not nearly as good as the taragon dressing used on the butter lettuce in the past. Instead of mashed potatoes (due to poor flovoring and quality with last visit) I got the fingerling potatoes. They taste fine like salted potatoes, they were cooked well. Better than flavoless mashed potatoes. The bread is fine. The meal was on the small side, I'm 5' and 102lbs. I ate and still could have another side. The staff has improved from last visit. The food is not really improving, flavors are basic, food I can make at home. Smaller serving sizes might not upset me if all tge offerings were dependable in flavor. If my favorites keep getting removed or continue to lose flavor, I may need to cut out this as a yearly hang out. I'll try it again in 2023 because the staff. Hope the menu reverts to the quality and flavors of 2012 in 2023. Not hopeful. It's a place where the food is ok, nothing special here.

I’m sorry but this is the saddest looking Tender Greens I’ve ever been to. The steak is lukewarm approaching cool and the bread is so hard, stale, and crunchy.
