Teriyaki Don - Fresno

They changed the way they place food, we ordered 2 chicken terriyaki bowls and they do not come with vegetables but a small side of spring salad in the to go container and less rice. Chicken with the teriyaki tastes the same.

Thier app is trash and very misleading.we order the teriyaki chicken bowl which comes with a lil salad and rice. The app says to pick in the salad part different options like NO SALAD, SPRING SALAD OR VEGGIES so by having this option it shows me that whatever i pick is what will be coming with my meal (the salad and rice included) so when i got home its literally chicken over spinach NO RICE AT ALL.so i call and the lady tells me its my fault and offered a $1 spicy sauce for the trouble ya ni thats just horrible service

The real sauce, not the teriyaki sauce, the sauce that used to be free with your stick salad or meal. Now they hoard it all stacked up behind the counter like it's gold. You can look at it but you can't have any. The chicken, all white, is dry. You have to have the sauce or you have nothing. Two Monday specials extra meat all the way from Tower and dry chicken. "Would you like any of our sauces or would you like to buy any extra sauces? " YESSSS! Break our the big bottles of sauce please.

You can't go to Fresno and not visit Teriyaki Don. But, be prepared to wait. Seems that it doesn't matter when you arrive, there's always the long wait. It's gotten to be a bit discouraging when, the orders being called in or for pick up take precedent over the walk in. Just don't understand the reasoning.plenty of cooks in the back? Anyways, the food is great, worth the wait.

I was disappointed about my order. My salad doesn’t have dressing, my sushi doesn’t have wasabi and my shrimp tempura was raw. I end up throwing my food.

The problem is there app doesn't give you an estimated time. Not till after you placed the order it had me waiting for 1 hour there.

Have always love the spicy teriyaki chicken. The last 4 times were very disappointing. It was overly dried like deep fried twice but I figured they were always busy and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Today will be the last time, our chicken was so thin as though it was split in half. We had more breading then chicken. The taste is still on point but the quality has become less important. Maybe number is more important then quality.

Yesterday's chicken today. We waited an hour for 2 of their Sundays specials. It was the driest, flavorless chicken I've ever had. The breading was falling right off the chicken. I had to tug the chicken like I was eating beef jerky. The rice was cold, the salad had no dressing. We also tried spicy tuna roll. Tasted like grocery store sushi. Overrated

Place was clean, Food great, I had the #3 spicy crispy chicken with a little teriyaki sauce drizzle on top, on sticky rice, with a salad included. Diet bargs rootbeer.aye with chop sticks.all in all a great time.felt great after I ate here.love uncle me.

Horrible place to eat in general. Haven't eaten there for a while and their food was decent enough for me to try it again. I really regretted going back. Ordered a spicy chicken teriyaki bowl and the chicken meat was hard and rubbery. Never going back there again.

Disappointed.came in and was told there'd be a wait of 25 minutes AFTER I paid.ok I understand a wait but checked in with them 20 minutes later.not ready.checked in again.waiting on one item.checked in again about 15 minutes after that and they said they were waiting on veggies, oh and by the way I ordered all carrots and was told 20 minutes after I ordered that they had no carrots.changed it to broccoli and waited a total of 1 hour for 3 bowls and two sides of veggies. I hadn't eaten here for awhile but I remember they also used to give a lot more rice, there was only a thin layer under the meat.the only thing I can say is that they are very nice people.

We got the Sunday special and regular teriyaki Don as well as tempura veggies. All of it was very tasty. The rice was soft and the chicken well seasoned. The veggies were crisp with coating but soft inside. Overall we were satisfied! Would definitely recommend.

Chicken teriyaki was really good with a lot of flavor and the calamari had big pieces unlike some places that serve what looks like crumbs.

Have you ever had leftover chicken strips from 3 days ago and decided to heat them up in the microwave and then let them just sit for and hour? That's pretty much what we got here. Ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and after about an hour of waiting we finally got our food. It was cold, flavorless and the chicken was dry. If you drowned it in teriyaki sauce it might taste like something and be less like jerky.

I ordered their ginger chicken it was not my cup of tea. It was my first & my last. Also my teriyaki bowl just wasn't the same as it usually is!
Normally I love their food but it was horrible that day.

That's spicy chkn plate is wished it was alot more spicy tho. Spice level.is 1/10. THE place is very spacious and organized. Staff are welcoming.

The service is terrible. Employees are rude! Restaurant is always dirty! Won’t ever go back!

Best teriyaki salmon in Fresno. Delicious tempura vegetables. Quick and fresh. Great prices. Excellent service.

You can’t beat the affordability and taste of Teriyaki Don. Portions are a great size, they allow lots of customization and the sauces are bottle up and take home worthy (which they actually sell). Highly recommend.
