Italian Restaurant Terún reviews
8They use really good ingredients, but that is about all the positive i could find to say. The food lacks flare and flavor and the service was mehh.
The food was lovely, the service attentive, and the fare is very reasonable. The ingredients are imported from Italy, making it easy on the stomachs of many with food sensitivities.
No butter available for the bread. Toppings on the pizza were just thrown on, not evenly spread out. The “outdoor seating” in the back is completely enclosed. The diet soda was in a tiny 8oz bottle, not a standard-sized can. Disappointing.
Good seating with choices of outdoor, window, bar and regular seating. They have a good amount of vegetarian options on the menu. The food came in quick even though the restaurant was quite busy, and it was good tasting. Four stars because the place is slightly expensive given that most dishes start at $16 (regular pizzas without too many ingredients start at ~$20) and taste pretty much like what you would get in many other good Mountain View/Palo Alto Italian restaurants but at lower prices with almost the same ambience.
Recommendations: Fava and broccoli rabe and the porcini
Possibly the most authentic pizzas in South Bay. I had a chance to taste the Tricolore (burrata), San Daniele (prosciutto), Napoletana (anchovies) pizza. While I'd blindly recommend all of the ones mentioned above, I have a special love with the pizza that I personally ordered: the Tonno e Cipolla. That's Tuna pizza!
The tuna was very fresh and the taste balanced, a far cry from the canned tuna pizzas I've had at other places. If you're a curious foodie is highly recommend this pizza for you!
The best pizza outside of Italy. The decor is sophisticated, clean and posh. Perfect for date night or lunch with coworkers.
One of my favorite restaurants on the peninsula. Absolutely amazing Tuscan style dishes and more. Ambiance is modern but the staff make you feel like home. Back patio is a must. House made pasta, risotto of the day, lamb shank, lasagne.the list goes on. Don't leave without trying the Salted Caramel Gelato w/ olive oil. I repeat: DO NOT leave without trying the Salted Caramel Gelato w/ olive oil.
Amazing pizza! Phenomenal service! Great value! We started with the Eggplant Polpette with truffle cream.unusual take on the humblr eggplant but a winner in taste. Then we had the Calamari and Farro. It was a great combination.but less Farro would have been preferred.too filing. We had the Orrechiette with beef-veal-pork ragu and again it was unusual but oerfect! Lastly, we ordered the Trecolore Pizza. The crust was amazing.the best definitely in the Bay area. The Burrata was so fresh and moist. The base used was the San Marzano stewed tomato paste and marinated cherry tomatoes. Bravissimo!
