Tesla Supercharger reviews
16Good location. Near Starbucks, Wings other good places to eat. Can shop at Best Buy, or TJ Maxx to name a few.
Great location to charge quickly while on a quick trip between SF and South Bay! Just a hop from 101. Huge and well lit parking lot, doesn’t feel isolated even late nights!
Not far from my friend's so I can pop over for a quick top up between things. Like all Tesla Supercharger Stations, it is convenient to several eating and shopping choices. (Though I read while charging instead of either of the above. It was late and I wasn't hungry.)
Still quick and easy, no issues with the chargers.
Convient location. The only issue I would be that many of the chargers are worn out and don't stay in the cable holder.
This is one of the best Tesla Supercharger Stations around.place is immaculate and I'd drive an hour just to charge here (and I don't even drive a Tesla)
First time at this station. I liked it. Not crowded, plenty of stations, near by a market piazza with Starbucks and others. Ohh.and the speed was better than others!
I love that this Supercharger is close to my home and that there are relatively many stalls so usually there is a spot available. While charging, I can go for a short walk, coffee or shop as there are many options in the area.
I come to San Carlos quite often and I did not know that this supercharger was here because usually when I come my car is fully charged. It’s a very convenient location right off the freeway. Also there is a Starbucks Petsmart Best Buy home goods TJ Maxx and other food restaurants within walking distance. San Carlos is pretty safe so I wouldn’t worry about being here at night but I probably wouldn’t want to be here alone at night either even if it is safe just because everything would be closed. Sometimes there’s a lot of high traffic to get into the parking lot because there’s so many businesses that surround it but once you’re in there’s plenty of superchargers and plenty of parking. I definitely will come back again. #soknotyoung
Some distance to major highways, and this charger is definitely for local apartment dwellers or small business employees while shopping at the Target area. Not being stereotypical, to own a Tesla and charge the car overnight at home is the quality way to go and should be planned financially and lifestylely. Stalls are fully occupied quickly around 11: 30 on weekend. The only feeling good thing is it's easier to maneuver cars here than the Cupertino location. Still there are many ICE and Teslas wandering around along with Target's 18 wheelers and other delivery trucks. Charging currents are mostly on the low side but still faster than other DCFC. Save the hassle and enjoy a quality time with your family at other places. I certainly welcome more Superchargers, simply for more options when needed! Ought to replace half the gas station pumps with chargers.
Not the fastest charger. No WiFi.
Never hit peak above 60kW, even when nobody next to me for 2 stalls on either side. Drops to around 42kW when at least every other stall is used.
Locals don’t know that they should leave space when possible (just in case) even though it seems to not effect anything.just typical Tesla etiquette!
Pretty convenient, but there's a fence between this shopping area and the neighboring one, so you have to walk to the street to get around if you want to get to REI.
There are many stalls do not function or with very low charging rate.
It was working well a few weeks ago.
Can be hectic. Xfinity wifi if you got Comcast. Otherwise you have to walk to the stores. 80-90% high capacity warning from Tesla even though it's not busy.
You get 72kw even when all chargers are taken. Only downside is that the complex as such is a bit boring. No restaurants or coffee shops. I don't want to buy furniture or hop onto best buy while waiting for my car to charge.
It's nice that there is almost always a spot here, but it doesn't work at the advertised charge rate. Only outputs 70 kW.
