Tesla Supercharger reviews
6Too slow to be useful on a road trip. Tried 3 stalls, many open, fastest I got was 50kW, about the same as home charging.
Terribly slow! Only one other car charging and the max it went up to was 56 kw. Such a waste of time and energy. Even though it was late, off peak hours. Tesla needs to monitor these "super chargers". Super slow.
Abysmal charging speeds. 10% SoC on one of the 150kw gave only 102kw. 40 min charge to finish the 120mi trip to Sacramento? Ugh. Red bluff has 2 locations 18mi north. I will be manually stopping there from now on.
Note these are V2 and if you plug in next to someone, you will be sharing the 150kw.
Tesla should upgrade these to V3 plus fill out the space to 10 or 12 stalls.
Close to Starbucks is a plus. Many homeless also in the area, not a pet, just a heads up.
Great location and easy off the freeway. The chargers are really slow. Charged at a max of ~60kw with other empty stalls. It never got close to 150kw. I've noticed this on multiple occasions at this location. Stopped the charging early and moved on to faster location.
Tesla please - these chargers are only working at 32-64 kwh average! Its
a great location if your on low energy, but not if jn a time crunch or on a schedule
