Thai Elephant Express reviews
9 A small, casual, authentic Thai eatery where you order at the counter, and food is served in takeout containers, whether you dine in or take out. I don't mind the presentation as I'm here for the taste. We had two items with rice: Tamarind fish and Spicy Basil chicken with rice, and Tamarind fish and Yellow chicken curry with rice. I always ask for extra curry sauce over rice to add another flavor burst. It's so yummy! They also cater to vegetarians. Their Basil fried rice, Pad Thai, and Pad Kee Mow are amazing and made to order, with the option to request your preferred level of spiciness.
If you are in a hurry, call ahead and place your order. They can get busy during lunch or dinner time, but their service is always fast and friendly.
This place had excellent Thai food. Stumbled upon it coincidentally as I was in the area for Vietnamese food.
I ordered the pad Thai (mild) and pad see ew. Both were generously portioned and came out hot. The pad Thai mild was still pretty spicy, so if you can't take spice don't even try mild. I thought it was just the right amount of spice and I liked that I didn't have to mix the noodles myself. A lot of other places you have to mix the pad Thai noodles and sauce yourself once you get the dish. Not here.
The pad see ew was also good. Again large portion and the noodles were well sauced. I'm the chicken breast it came with was thinly sliced and not overly dry (as many places are that serve chicken breast). Also came with broccoli and tofu. The broccoli could have used a little more season but that's okay as the rest dish had enough sauce.
Would definitely recommend and would like to try more of their food.
I came in within an hour of closing time (~810pm) and there was still a lot more people coming in to order food.
There wasn't much seating inside so probably best to get it and go somewhere else to eat.
I feel bad not giving this place a review after being a regular here for a few years lol! Always clean, staff is very kind, and the food is great! The only problem is parking but it depends if you're going during the weekday or weekends.
Fast food that's not Chinese but rather Thai? !? ! Oh heck yes! Tamarind fish, spicy fish, and fried rice ftw!
One of my favorite restaurants
I love egg plant or aubergines they prepare them delicious.and it's not expensive.
Im come in firts times and they do my drinks wrong but its okay. I ask strawberry smothie but they make strawberry milktea. But it still good
We go here 12+ times a year. Love their chicken green curry! I always order by phone for pickup and they have never messed up.
This store is used to be a good place to eat, but now I can not afford to eat here anymore. Imagine, a Pad Thai lunch $17.85. This is too much of a price. No more for me. I rather eat elsewhere and stay away from this store. There are many other places to eat and it is cheaper.
Been here at least a handful of times so far, and the service/quality have been impeccable. More importantly, the prices and portions are fair. Great takeout spot mainly and will be back!
