Thai Thai Oceanside Restaurant

This has got to be the best thai food I've found in san diego. Sampler appetizer was perfect crisp and flavor. Spicy fried rice was amazing. Green curry tasted incredible. 100% would recommend

Parents with kids please do not go here… they are not baby friendly and the people here are rude.

This restaurant wanted my family to go out of the dining room because our 6 month old baby was crying a little bit. They showed so much attitude to a 6 month old baby. Is this a kind of place what we want to take our children. Very inhumane management and restaurant owners.

Take out order, first time trying them. I asked for a 5/10 on the spicy level, my wife got a 2/10. Her food was so spicy that her lips turned red, she couldn't eat it.

Wish they would tone down the spice level, then let you add the chili etc to make it spicier.

My 5/10 spice level was just as hot as hers.

BEST CHICKEN PAD THAT I EVER HAD! Bursting with flavors! Sweet, savory and spicy, it was soo good!

I ordered food to go and sat and waited almost 35 minutes. In the time that I waited for my food, I watched someone walk into the restaurant, order their food and eat. I became upset when the person who ordered their food, sat down and got their check, and my food still had not been completed. This place takes way too long, and the service is terrible because they act like it’s not their fault, my order was sitting on the pick up tray from almost 10 minutes before someone noticed I was still there. I had to ask them if it was my food so I’m very upset.

Careful when you order the level of spiciness. I can normally handle very spicey food but I did 6/10 spice, my husband did 5/10 spice, & it was too hot to enjoy! The chili overwhelmed the favor of both dishes. My curry was more watery than what I order at other places too. The dishes look pretty though.

So yummy! Had their spicy chicken fried rice and it was the perfect amount of heat. Big portions and the egg rolls were great! Highly recommend

Best Thai food in North County. We always go tom kha with chicken and shrimp, angel wings, beef salad, tofu pad thai and a curry or prik king. Ask for the Thai lemon iced tea. Finish up with Yogurtland next door. Perfect date night!

The first thing that stood out was the staff's inconsistent attire. A black hoodie looks too casual when the other staff members are dressed more professionally.

Good food. I really enjoy the soup and the Pad Thai here as well as the sticky mango rice. The only thing that I don't like is the service. They are a bit rude and mean. They are giving this narrative that they don't want to work. Not very friendly. Also the place is so small and it's not really welcoming.

Bottom line is excellent food but bad service and atmosphere

Delicious Thai restaurant in Oceanside/ Vista area. Plenty of food options. Recommend their Pad thai, Pad see ew and their different types of Curry. Friendly staff and quick service!

One of my favorite Thai restaurants, everything here is good and the people are super nice and accommodating

Used a fish oil, fish ingredient or fishy cookware in a chicken dish. Horrible flavor. Very oily and ruined a favorite shirt, even after pre-treatment in laundry.

Really nice guy at the register, but the taste of fish is really off-putting. I ordered a chicken dish, fish wasn't mentioned in its description. If I were an dine-in customer, this would have gone back.

Once was enough.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR GLUTEN-FREE. The server assured me they can make what I ordered, gluten-free, but they didn't. They brought me orange chicken coated in flour and got mad when I refused the order. Then brought me noodles that I was sure contained wheat, the server assured me they weren't but I asked another server and he said he didn't know. I asked if I could review the ingredients to be sure before my children and I ate and he couldn't provide it. He told me I shouldn't order things that could contain gluten. I have ordered at other Thai places and they have always been great at switching the type of noodle if needed. I'm so disappointed. I love supporting family business but was treated poorly. Their menu says to let them know if we have dietary restriction so they can adjust to our needs but they DID NOT. I was there with my husband and 4 little ones. I even explained that we have celiac disease and can get really sick and they were STILL rude about it. The gentleman was more understanding but the lady was RUDE and clearly ignorant to what gluten is. I'm upset and will never come back.

The day before a surgery my doctor's told me not to eat past a certain time. I chose this place and I chose right.

Their Pad Thai is amazingly made. It's so flavourful. Makes me jealous because I cook pad Thai all the time!

And of course I had to buy the $5 mega sized Thai Boba tea. It was so sweet and delicious, but honestly take the size into account. It had a handle for me to carry it!

You can tell they care about their restaurant as it's always very clean and well furnished. It was even themed out in February as we approached valentine's day.

Well, after a good experience of course I had to come back. I reminisced with their Pad Thai and also ordered the Tom Kha. The pad Thai did not miss and the Tom kha was delectable.

The seafood Tom kha was served, as pictured, in a heated pot where I could scoop out what I needed into a bowl. I personally like to order white rice to eat it with.

I had it at a 4 just to have a slight spicy flavour but it did not over power. I enjoyed it's silky coconut flavor.

Thai Thai is all about the details. Their rice is served in heart shapes and their plain waters look presentable along with the rest of their decor. This place does very well. I plan on coming back to explore their menu.

We got the app sampler, four stars because the cream cheese pastry came out cold.

Drunken Noddles where great 6/10 spicy was not enough for me but had good flavor and great heat.

The Tom yum soup was not good. Very sweet, too many veg. Ex. Zucchini, carrots, broccoli. Ordered tofu as protein and ended up with vegetable soup!
Spicy eggplant had lots of similar veg along with the eggplant. Tasty, but unusual.

Staff was very attentive and kind. The food was wicked fast and just phenomenal.we live nearby and will be definitely coming back here as often as we can.

It was my first time here yesterday. I ordered Panang Curry and Pad Thai. Panang Curry is ok. Not too bad but I had better Somewhere else. Pad Thai was very disapointing. It was lacking of flavor. Service was great and fast though. Seems like their Yellow Curry and Thai Iced Tea is pretty popular. I really would not go back here for Pad Thai.
