Thaibodia Bistro - Campbell reviews
15Food was delicious! Fresh and tasty. Even leftovers were good. There's a few tables for dine in - very clean, and nice people servicing.
Bf and I love this place for a lazy weekday and want a quick dindin pick up! The food never disappoints for take-out with the $35 3 entree deal they have. We always love the BBQ chicken and polish off the dish - plus really large portions for a couple so it’s great for dinner and next day left overs for the price! With the rewards system they have too it’s great when you go a few times and you rack up points towards future purchases! Clean and quick environment to get in and get out for fresh food
I just ordered pad thai, it was very greasy. I'm easy to please.but I will not come here again.
Food is pretty sweet but still good! Just add some spice and it’s good! Customer service was great! Will be back.
Love the food here! Try the Roti, pineapple fried rice, any of the curries. Heck. Everything we’ve ordered is great! This is our Thai go-to now.
I think I can safely say that I am a Thai cuisine experienced foodie/critic as I have gone to many Thai restaurants and cooked my own as well.
The pork larb I had yesterday was the best I have ever ordered in a restaurant. The price point is comparable to other Thai restaurants in Silicon Valley, but Thaibodia"s portions far exceed the others. The shrimp in the Pad Thai were quite large and the green curry chicken has a nice variety of vegetables. The server was very kind - not a hint of rudeness.
As long as this restaurant maintains the good service, food taste and size portions, i will keep returning despite the 20 minute drive over.
I have been to their San Jose location. That food was awesome.
That is why I visited Campbell.
The food at Campbell was not good. Taste was quite bad due to which we could not eat. May be they have different chefs.
Anyways I would not be visiting the place again
The menu is a great mix of Cambodian and Thai dishes, leaning a bit more Cambodian. The corn cakes were rather dry. Seafood salad was yummy, with chunks of seafood. The choo chee vegetarian curry was tasty and spicy (not hot, flavorful). The Hor Mok was a bit different, still delicious. The service is a bit slow, but the staff is very nice. We recommend Thaibodia.
Do not recommend. Called and had order ready in 10 min which was a little suspicious. Curry was not good tasting at all. I was sick for an entire day after. I’ve spent months in Thailand and never was sick before.
If I could rate this place zero stars, I would. The staff is some of the most unfriendly human beings I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. This place should just close and go out of business.
*EDIT* See response to my friend's review below. Not sure why I care whether or not the establishment "is under 24 hour surveillance". I wouldn't come within the same zip code of this place in my lifetime.
One of the waitress or staff member was very rude and was not inviting.
*EDIT* Restaurant staff replied to my review and didn't even address the fact that they were rude. Funny how they don't want to own up to their shortcomings. Definitely not a business that is interested in doing better for themselves and customers. DO NOT COME HERE because they are rude and you can definitely get better service and tasty food elsewhere. This place is trash and I implore folks to not spend a cent at this establishment because they clearly have no idea what the definition of customer service is. If you come here, I'm sorry because you probably will regret it. I suggest you just go to the Ramen place next door, they have really good food!
The eggplant dish here is my favorite but everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The lunch special (3 entrees for $37) is a fantastic bargain since each dish is big enough for two meals. Great little restaurant.
Food is great and the coffee is just like it is over seas in Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia.it tastes great and is strong! Some of the barang/farang staff are rude but other than that no complaints.
I've been here several times in the past 2 1/2 years, and the quality has been consistently fresh and delicious. The veggies are chunky and cooked perfectly. Our favorites are Pad See Ew with pork and Pumpkin Red Curry with chicken. The portions are generous, so we always have leftovers for lunch the next day. The place is tiny, but the staff HUSTLES. Even in the dinner rush, our food was ready very quickly.
This place has amazing food but, the staff is just plain rude. The lady always talks like she hates working there. Also, the rude tone towards customer is very bad habit. People pay money for good service and clearly she doesn't provide it. I don't know if I will ever comeback again. I will be back if she changes her attitude and actually cares about her customers.
