The Abbey Food & Bar, West Hollywood CA

Fun until it wasn’t. The music and vibes seemed good, but we kept getting harassed wherever we stood to dance. Because of this, we made sure to stay extra aware of our surroundings, had only 2 drinks each and kept the drinks close to us at all times. All that and still my phone got stolen from inside my purse (they ruined its clasp) and my friend got roofied. We’ve replayed the night in our heads over and over, and we suspect it was the bartender (longhaired guy). While we were closing the tab he tried to charge us both rounds of drinks at the end, even though we had paid for the first round way before we opened the tab. We got into a whole back and forth with him on this trying to explain it. That last drink was the roofied one, and it makes sense, since she was the one paying. RUN. Not worth the bad time

Loved spending an evening here, the Chapel had Musical Mondays going and it did not disappoint. Great talent and a wonderful range of genres, a fun night for all. The drinks were strong and worth the price, looking forward to my next visit.

Fun music BUT very bizarrely potent bar pours going on (you will get unreasonably wasted, seriously what are they putting in the drinks?).

Think twice before heading to the Abbey. My friend’s phone and wallet got swiped right there while we were hanging out. You'd think a place like the Abbey would have better security. But nope, it seemed like anyone could just grab stuff and walk out. Not cool. It's a bummer because the place has a great atmosphere, but what's the fun if you have to worry about your stuff the whole time?

They can't hold all the people they are letting in. Like it got full hpurd ago why are you still pushing people in. Just stop people from coming in at capacity.

Fun vibe, friendly bartender, excellent bolognese. An unexpected surprise. Highly recommend.

Definitely my Go-To-Bar I love it it here! Such good vibes and amazing workers there, always ready to serve us and bring up food. I absolutely love the Expresso Martini & This place is the Best

I so love this place but i hate the music sometimes if they could play some newer songs to vibe with that would be so fun! Rocco’s has good music but i hate the place haha I guess you can’t really have it all

Multiple friends of mine have come here and gotten roofied… both men and women are not safe. This is extremely disappointing that we can’t even be safe in our own spaces please be careful of yourself and loved ones

Cool space but lord have mercy what a complete sh*t show. Lol. I’m not a fan of WeHo normally although I do love me some Stache across the street:)

Almost left as the first section wasn’t too great but the terrace / alter area at the bar is a great hang out area

Too crowded, Disgusting drinks, Full of thieves (my friends phone got stolen) and straight ppl who just wanna touch you somehow…
You won’t feel safe there AT ALL

So fun, great people, good drinks, and fun dancers! I wish the bathroom attendants weren't so pushy and aggressive about tipping. I didn't see any signs and was hounded for a tip
