Good location ok rooms. We had problems with the drain which they took care of right away.

Location very close (7 minutes walk) to Hollywood Boulevard, functional rooms even if old, the cleanliness of the structure left a little to be desired. The many parking spaces available are excellent, while the lift is a potential trap.

We didn't try breakfast (not included), but there is a Trader Joe's less than 10 minutes walk away: I would recommend doing your shopping there, the quality of the food is high.

Very good location in Hollywood - right next to the freeway and at the same time in a quality neighborhood. Spacious room and nice decoration.

Well located hotel with very nice decor. It has a swimming pool, parking and the room is equipped with microwave, fridge and coffee maker.
Just a little noisy (road) but very well placed for visiting the film studios or Hollywood BVD.

It's a motel with $200+/night.
Not much family friendly. Rooms are small, very old.
Only pros are very close to hall of fame or universal studios. It's good for a place to take a night nap before visiting any attractions.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, availability of on-site parking, including covered parking. Possibility to use the bar (paying with each drink) directly under the structure. Advised.

I booked an executive suite for my week stay in LA for a show and to hangout with friends. Everything with my stay was absolutely perfect. Check in was a breeze and my room was absolutely massive. Could see the Hollywood sign from the shower window and had a cool view of the city from my room. If I did have one complaint, it's lack of a microwave in the suite but other than that, absolutely recommend especially for the location. You're literally smack in the middle of everything with quick access to the 101 and a couple blocks from Hollywood blvd.

Booked the room for 2 nights to be close to Universal studios! Nice place to stay if you wanna be close to the Hollywood nightlife. Just a short drive to sunset and Hollywood Blvd. Hotel has a diner and a bar on the inside not sure of the hours but if you don't feel like leaving you are covered! Cool room decor we had a giant Sylvester Stallone pic In the bedroom! Lol solid price per night and comfy beds! Hot shower and hot running water.

I usually don’t rate hotels I stay at, but this one needed a review so people know what they are getting into.

First off the room in the pictures is not what we got. It felt like a bait and switch.
When we arrived we tried to turn on the A/C unit and it had a mildew smell so we kept it off for the fours days there. We had no running hot water the four days. We called maintenance but they said that just the way it is. We had a connection door in our room so we herd all the voices and commotion in the room next door which woke up my wife and daughter in the middle of the night. The towels had a burn smell. The light is the bathroom didn’t work so it was very dark. Only light in the room was two recess lights in the ceiling by the tv so the room was rather dark. The door to the bathroom creaked every time you opened it. The carpet was sticky by in several places.

The room was very spacious and clean. I would've given it a 5 stars if it wasn't for the hot water situation. There was no hot water when I turned on the tap. I tried every way possible (pulling it out etc) but eventually settled there was no hot water. When I mentioned it at checkout, they said you gotta turn it in a certain way to get the hot water out. No one told me at checkin. They didn't bother giving me a partial refund or anything either. My advice to them: fix your hot water system so customers don't struggle when they're just trying to take a shower. I didn't end up taking a shower that morning and had to take a 5h flight back home. It was uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay here again.

What an awesome, historical hotel. Less than a mile to the Pantages. Rooms were very clean. It's a bit noisy, but that's the city life. Only bummer, the ice machine was broken.

Room didn't look like the pictures, the room we stayed in was old and the shower was terrible.
It's 2 blocks away from the walk of fame but you won't go there walking at night.there are a lot of homeless camps nearby. Unless you have a car I don't recommend it

We only got to stay here 1 night. But it was a fun little hotel in the Hollywood hills. Perfect location to get to all the Hollywood sights. I would definitely stay here again. The room was large, quiet, and well furnished.

I booked this hotel because it was close to Universal Studios Hollywood and some other tourist locations. The location was so convenient because we were able to walk to the bus station to go to other places. Also, the rooms were big enough for 2 people. They don't regularly do housekeeping every day, but if you ask the front desk they'll make a reservation for you. The people at the front desk made our trip 100 times better since they were so nice to us every time we walked by them. I would come back to this hotel again for sure!

I am a tourist from Japan who came to LA. The location of the hotel was good and the price was reasonable, so I booked it. It took about 30 minutes from Univa including train and walk, and it was very convenient because it was close to other sightseeing spots. The room is large enough for two people. We do not seem to do room service (cleaning) every day, but reserve immediately if we ask the front desk. The staff at the front desk were very nice people who would call out to me right away if they were in trouble!
The hotel also has a bar and diner, so we recommend that one as well!

This hotel is a great find! It is close to Hollywood walk of fame and Universal Studios. It is clean, well staffed and reasonably priced. I appreciated the retro Hollywood style decor and their collection of photographs. There is a nice kitchen nook in the room with a microwave and fridge. Bathroom is spacious. There is plenty of free parking. They have a great diner and what looked like a pretty busy bar downstairs. If their mattress didn’t give us back pain, it would have been the perfect stay.
