$110 for watery ‘fire roasted vegetable’ soup (x2), a sandwich that was so salty it was inedible and a decent 1/2 rack of ribs.

Valet parking now mandatory (gets added to the bill) and guest WiFi no longer available for people eating in the restaurant or bar.

I’ve had better food on united in coach.

The servers were very nice but it was understaffed.

It ain't cheap, the service is friendly even if it isn't particularly fast, but the atmosphere!

and unlike the Ahwahnee dining room, it is causal.one can truly relax, just exhale after a day of being outside doing whatever.

As a connoisseur of high-end spirits, nothing makes me more disappointed than going to a super high-end place and having a selection of just mediocre spirits. This is a great bar with great food. Rather small menu, the drinks they did make were great. Unfortunately, the selection of alcohol is just mediocre. All they have to do is get a few things that are slightly out of reach for most people. And that would satisfy any decent connoisseur. Amazing view, great service. Great place to be just get better spirits. Please, including one that's so far out of reach that Most people wouldn't buy it.side note. Everybody has the Louie, It has to be something other than a congac. Still a must stop destination for a nice hot drink.

Such a fantastic beautiful place with a lot of history.after seeing the gorgeous views I took my mother in-law to eat a bite and she can be a bit difficult at times so things started off a bit rough when she felt we were being ignored by most of the wait staff but luckily we were finally taken care of by a lovely gal named Rachel she was fantastic, she got us taken care of quickly and was so attentive. After a hip replacement 3 months ago my mother can't be sitting too long so Rachel got us out in a good amount of time and I was just so grateful for her making it a great experience for us despite the rough start. Food was good and we'll definitely be back next spring for our family reunion.

Delicious salad. I’m a person who doesn’t like vegetables, but it’s rare that I like this salad
The potatoes are very fresh and the ingredients are very practical.
The burger was delicious, but it was so salty that I felt like I might have kidney problems.

I would suggest planning around packing your own lunch. Granted, I guess that's kinda my bias because, well, I'm in Yosemite right, but the food and the service here just aren't that good for the price. Nothing is terrible, and I guess the wait is understandable seeing as it's really the only place to get lunch for miles, but, well, it's a monopoly right? And a monopoly gets custom kinda whatever it does 'cause people who want to buy gotta buy there. With this place, it kinda shows. It doesn't really feel like at any stage they're trying very hard to make people want to buy. The plating is pretty good, I guess. But the selection is kinda poor, especially for gluten free stuff, and they don't really have strategies for making the wait better even though it's gotta be a chronic problem.

A really lovely experience, visiting Ahwahnee resort and relaxing over coffee and desserts, great coffee, great service

Was so looking forward to going to the Ahwahnee for lunch, and how disappointing it was. Not sure what is going on. The actual restaurant was closed for renovations, so lunch was served in the bar. Had the burreta salad and the chicken salad croissant. The burreta was not a salad and the chicken croissant tasted like a store bought.

Very disappointed with the experience at this bar.
The prices are extremely inflated. A soft beverage is $4. An mediocre cocktail is $17. I ordered the the short rib sandwhich and figured at a $28 price tag it would be well worth it. It was unfortunately one of the most flavorless and disappointing meals I have ever had.
Service felt sub-par for a bar in a 4 star hotel. We were taken out to the patio whiixh was under construction. We were backed up against construction fencing and they had s condor that was beeping the entire time. On top of that we were being bombarded by bees the entire time, making for aa regrettable patio experience. It was very much a waste of $100 and I would not recommend to anyone.

Gorgeous location and interior, well preserved.

Everything else is above average but nothing extraordinary. I ordered the half plate of ribs, they were dry, and not tender, the sauce was tasty though. The meatball was good, moist but lacked any distinct flavor. I did enjoy the lavender lemonade.

Service is good and the staff is pleasant.

The flavors made no sense together - things were over cooked or just felt frozen and reheated. Meh. The service and drinks were both solid and made up for the $20 valet fee.

Aside from the construction, it's hard to complain about sitting in a historic and scenic place eating a very nice lunch after a beautiful hike.

Casual bar with upscale prices in the magnificent hotel. Worth stopping in for a hot toddy in the winter or refreshing G&T in the summer. Step outside and take in an invr double view of half dome
