5Like an old school herbal apothecary! Teas, spices, and salts are in jars on the wall. Pay by weight.
Giiirl, my cooking is about to be off the chain! They have such a vast variety of spices, sugars, salts, and powdered foods. They have powdered vinegar! The store clerks will even give you pointers on how to use their spices. (FYI, you can use the powdered vinegar for stuff like homemade salt and vinegar chips).
This was an awesome store! Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. What a great find for a specialty store in downtown Sacramento. Highly recommend going in if not shopping online.
Great products. I recommend going into the store and making your purchase though. I put in an online order. Received a confirmation email saying I would receive another email when my order was ready. 9 days later i hadn't heard anything. I sent a friend in the area to check. Order was ready the day after I placed the order. They just never informed me. Even with that. At least they got on it and had my stuff ready to go less than 24 hours later. Just wish they had told me.
Beautiful shop with so many fresh spices available as well as gift sets. It was great for last minute Christmas shopping.
