2 Not as good as their TV program leads you to believe. Gave very little personal attention to our $4 million listing. Signed the contract and then assigned our home out to a part-time agent. No open houses, no proactive marketing. Just put it on the MLS and their website and waited for something to stick. Tried to convince us the $3 million + deal they were offered was the “best deal the market would produce”. (And weren’t even able to close that one.) Re-listed with a more committed, hands on agent who was also open to my marketing guidance. Sold for 4% above our $4 million ask within 21 days. Received an email from them inquiring about the sale price we secured with our new agent. I responded to his email and wished he and his family a happy holiday season. They never replied back in kind.
Not nice. Not recommended.
THEY ARE NO SHOWS FOR INTERVIEWS THEY SCHEDULE. I applied for job & was asked for an interview, upon the day of the interview the Altman Brothers team were a no show, they didn't even give a reason as to what happened, completely unresponsive. Days later they asked to reschedule the interview for the next day, they didn't even acknowledge the interview they missed, but despite that, I accepted the interview.
Next day comes around and they're no shows AGAIN!
Save yourself time & go somewhere else with competent people. If they treat their potential team members this way, I cannot imagine how they treat & communicate with their customers.
