The Aquarium Connection, Simi Valley CA

Andrew was extremely helpful with all my questions I had regarding my saltwater aquarium. He walked me through the issues I had step by step over the phone & helped resolve the issue. I highly recommend them!

Looks like they suffered a fire, a really nice employee told us that they are moving locations because of the fire.

These guys are hands down my favorite shop in the area. I was so sad to hear about the fire, but am thrilled to know that they're still open on the weekends (from 10a-3p) and that they were able to salvage some of the inventory. I got an amazing deal on a tank and was able to pick up a ton of supplies at a really great discount. They're still working on getting an alternate location set up while the rebuild is happening, but for now at least you can still stop by at the same location and shop in the back!

This place is great. Andrew and Peter really helped me out with getting my Dragon Pufferfish. They understood my concerns and greatly catered to my situation. I got a very healthy happy fish who is loving his new home!

They had more saltwater corals and some beautiful display tanks, not much on the freshwater side.

Good personal service from knowledgeable staff and owners. You'll get a much better selection of fish and plants here than at Petco. Some folks complained in reviews about not being helped. There have been times when no one approached me to see if I needed help, because they were clearly short staffed (well, being that there were few customers at the time, it may have been "right staffed") at the time and the only folks around were busy doing what needed to be done. BUT if you just ask nicely for help, they will meet your every need and answer every question. Honestly, I prefer that, it gives me time to look and think, and dream before talking shop.

I did a lot of research in building my planted tank, and had to special order my chosen supplies before I knew about this store. Turns out they keep all the good things I chose on the shelf, which goes to show they stock good stuff.

Amazing store. The staff is so kind, friendly, funny, and they know everything! I am a new aquarium owner and went there to get a pleco, some shrimp, and dwarf frogs and they taught me about so much more. Will definitely be coming back often.

Best service, information and suggestions; fantastic tank plant section; and the owners and staff are knowledgeable. As a rule, I very seldom give 5's, so I was impressed.

I love this place! I was tired of buying aquatic plants online or the rotten ones in big chain pet stores, then I found Aquarium Connection. They have EVERYTHING, I wish I had found this place before I stocked my fish, because they have so many varieties of healthy looking freshwater fish. Timothy helped me and while he told me, he didn’t know everything about the plants (they have a plant guy who’s there on the weekends) he still knew a great deal, and also provided great customer service. He humored my million questions and put up with my excitement as I ran around the place like a kid in a candy shop. I left with a ton of plants and my fish have never been happier. This is the only aquarium store I will be spending my money. Thank you Aquarium Connection!

A long drive for me, but we'll worth it. Met with Andrew and I must say it was a pleasure he has a ton of patience and knowledge. Andrew was most eager to answer all my questions I really felt comfortable at Aquarium Connection. The 400 gallon saltwater display is a must see OMG. Highly recommend The Aquarium Connection

Well i used to really like this place because I loved coming and seeing the fish but when we actually bought the fish they were way too expensive $39 a goldfish yes you heard me right $39

Always very friendly and they know their stuff, honestly can't say enough good things about this place and the people who own and run it.

The staff are so friendly I had a good experience it was my first time there I will be coming back again
