Stevi is incredible and has been great working around our schedule. Our son LOVES her art class so much and he has greatly improved with his art work. He really looks forward to this class every week and it has been the bright spot in this terrible year. Definitely recommend this class to all!

My daughter (9) has loved going to the art nook. She looks forward each week to going and working on her project. She feels quite a bit of accomplishment upon completion of her projects and proudly shows them off to everyone.

My daughter absolutely loves learning from Stevi. She says she has learned more from Stevi in her first session than any other of the art classes she has taken. So glad we found her! Thank you Stevi for being an artist my daughter can look up to!

I will begin by letting my 6 year old say in her own words how she felt about her online sessions with Stevi. "The first day of my art was really exciting, and Stevi was the best teacher of art that I have had. She is super nice. She's pretty. She likes art and I like art. " Mom: What did you learn or enjoy? "I learned that it doesn't matter what my drawings look like, because it everyone's drawings look good in one way or another. I learned about the primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. I thought that mixing colors is interesting. I enjoyed drawing horses the most. " Moriyah, age 6
Stevi tailored the lessons according to my daughter's interests and skill level. Stevi was extremely encouraging and taught art vocabulary words, concepts, and skills that I didn't know existed. It is obvious that she is a highly qualified and educated at teacher. Even in spite of being online she was able to make it work to see my daughter's work and showed interest in her growth from week to week. She was on time for each lesson and used technology to our advantage.
Regarding the benefits of a "live" teacher vs youtube or dvd teachers, Moriyah didn't get frustrated at the need to press pause because of a teacher going too fast which led to a more relaxed art session. Stevi was patient and allowed for Moriyah to be her detail oriented little self:) Having a teacher "in person " gave her the ability to suggest modifications and improvements, and for Moriyah to ask questions or give input.
Additionally, when there is ongoing relationship and personal motivation that is something online videos can't offer.
Cons: We had to provide our own supplies since we were out of state, but they were very easy to obtain at a low cost. Adding another student to the online session mid-ways through caused a little repetition, but my daughter enjoyed getting to help catch the other student up.
