The Barn Route 66 reviews
14What a great time we had there. Friendly staff and customers. Ice cold beer, great selection of whiskey and the burger and fries were awesome. The restrooms are very clean and stocked. Anyone driving Route 66 in Newberry Springs should stop by. You will love it.
Loved the hamburger and fries, loved the friendly bartender/waitress, loved the friendly atmosphere. Don't pass this gem by.
Renee was fun, quick service and the pizza was excellent. Good prices. I would highly recommend.
A great place to visit on historic route 66. Reasonably priced beverages, awesome waitress.
Great staff, locals, food and atmosphere. I'm a truck driver and it's a short walk from the truck stop. We'll worth the walk!
We stopped there in our way to LA, it’s a very friendly and funny space, every person we met there was nice and helpful too. Good food also! They invited us to stay for karaoke party that night but unfortunately we still had a long drive to our hotel. If I’m ever back in this part of the world, I’ll definitely go back in there!
A scene from the 1986 film, "The Hitcher" was filmed in HERE! When Thomas Howell walked in smelling of gasoline and Jennifer Jason Leigh served him up a burger.with a side of fingers.
Nice little place. Just east of Barstow. They have karaoke on Fridays and live bands on Saturdays. The owners are Italian so the pizza is handmade. Large dirt lot for truck parking. Overnight OK. Full bar. Fridays they have a $10 bucket deal no matter if it’s domestic or premium beer it’s $10 for six beers. PBR and Keystone cans are only two dollars.
It's been awhile since I've been there but when I was there I had a Great time with the Bartender, she was a great sport made some killer drinks for us her interaction with the customers was great with no Bad attitude's. We were there all day and spent approx $100.00 witch included $20.00 tip for Her services. Also had one of their Pizzas, which was very good and helped counter our Buzz from the great drinks she kept serving. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more frequently. I would become a local regular if that were the case. Keep up the Great Service!
We turned up and the owner was outside waiting for the man from the water company to turn up explaining that she was shut when she heard our English accents she invited us in and opened up the joint. She cooked us lunch and gave us a drink. We left a signed dollar bill on the wall like everyone else who seems to go there.
You have to visit this amazing place as they also have music nights. Thank you so so much!
Haven't been here for years until tonight. I enjoyed it!
Love the remodeled bathroom. It's fresh and clean
Great nostalgic feel on Historic Route 66. Beer was cold & the bartender was great
I'll definitely be back
For 45 years this little treat has the lighted many visitors. Still a great little ice cream stand with either frozen bananas or bars. A great value and still a favorite of my husband and myself. Plus strolling around Balboa Island is always a treat.
Went there for a concert of a friend's band; Rivertucky. Great little bar and venue. Fresh food including homemade pizza. Nice sized area for eating and socializing. Great dance floor in front of the stage inside. Side door opens up to a patio with seating and lighting at night.
Had a great time. I was there on late Friday afternoon. Good/friendly people, Bartender, and drinks.
