The Beachcomber Motel, Fort Bragg CA

Really enjoyed our stay here, this motel is right on the beach with breathtaking views! The room was very clean, quiet and peaceful! What a wonderful place to stay with an amazing sunset, and relaxing sound of waves crashing along the shore! This motel also has an area with fire pits where you can roast marshmallows and make s’mores in the evening time! They rent bicycles and we got to ride along the beach, which was really fun! We will definitely come back to stay here agin! Thank you!

Just a little north of Fort Bragg right on the coast great beach walk. Really nice rooms updated and modern, yes the room is small but you can make it work. Coffee available in the lobby we will return.

I urge you to get a second floor room, and if you absolutely have to get ground floor, you should avoid room 101 at all costs. Unless you want a zillion random people walking across “your” patio area and you enjoy hearing the laundry machines going next door at night.
There are no fans and no A/C, and the rooms can get warm in summer. You can open the patio door to let in cool air. However, see above regarding the privacy problem.
There’s no breakfast or any other nice amenities but if you want a beachfront place for a couple days and a reasonable price I guess this is it. Oh, and if you need a spacious bathroom for any reason this is not your place.

We were charged $275/nite for a motel room that was aged quite a bit. Bathroom was very small and old. Bedroom was ok but very dated. Of the 5 nites we were there not once did the room service come and clean or change towels. The motel is a "dog-friendly" motel and we observed, to both our left and right side rooms, the guests had 4 dogs and 2 dogs and there were times of growling and barking that awoke us. The view of the beach was great but everything else left us wondering what we paid for. I wont go back. To many other motels and hotels there to choose from.

Perfect little spot. Great distance.for walking to downtown (1-1.5 miles for the stuff we wanted to do). Room was immaculate, check in was smooth, and the staff was wonderful. Great morning coffee/tea set up too.

Our visit was so relaxing. Atmosphere is so nice. Rooms so clean and comfy. Easy access to beach and beautiful sunsets right from our room. Thank you Beachcomber for a wonderful vacation!

This is a great place for families. It is right on the beach with great views. There is a nice deck outside the bottom floor rooms with tables, umbrellas and gas fire pits.

Right on the beach, great views, beach and walking path access. Clean rooms, balcony’s with chairs. Public patio on ground floor with fire pits.

By far the best place to stay in Fort Bragg. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at this place.

Wonderful place to stay. Right on Pudding Creek by the bridge. I always love staying here. Walking trail,
/biking trail is really fun. Don't forget the old dump, now Glass beach.

Awesome motel and very dog friendly too! We love staying here with our dog and hanging on the patio.

Quaint little room with amazing views of the ocean. Clean accommodation, tiny bathroom. Netflix is available on the tv. There's a balcony, but not private at all. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear any children in the morning. Pet friendly. I only heard one dog once. I would love to come back with my fur babies.

Great location, just across the bridge from town. The decks are nice and well kept. We had a "king pet suite w/dog park". Interestingly enough, upon check-in we were told not to leave our dogs in the room at any time. If we had known we would have to have the dogs traveling with us throughout our entire visit, it may have been easier just to camp. This may have been one of the only rooms without its own outdoor space. There's a doggie door that goes out to his small fenced-in area but no access for people. These two rooms are the closest to the highway so the road noise is a bit much during the day, but traffic is low at night.
Overall, we had a good time and the girls enjoyed their suite.

Great vacation spot, right off the beach. Very quiet, close to town and shops. Very nice staff. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved the motel and easy access to beach like few minutes walking distance. Really liked the facilities on the room with mini kitchen to cook, dinner table, utensils had made us feel another home. Only thing we had trouble with the room access key which wasnt working the second time. We had to go to front desk and get new keys multiple times. Even then it wasnt working so need to use back door.

Very good location, it is perfect for walking in the morning and seeing the coast. Definitely a great place to rest.

This place was amazing! Open the back door and hello Pacific Ocean. What a getaway. Can't wait to go back.
