17Great bar and spot in Silverlake with very elegant and cool decor. We absolutely love the cocktails especially the Deadly Lady & Mother in Law. The food menu also offers great selections of bar food, the duck confit burger, and brussels sprouts were the highlights of what we ordered. Very cool vibe and chic crowd on a Tuesday night!
Absolutely love this place. Great drinks, great vibes and great service. I highly recommend it
Great spot with indoor and outdoor seating.gets crowded indoors fast but being able to drink outside Is great. Bit pricey tho
The food is phenomenal and the service is even better. Jess is the 100% absolute best and deserves the whole world
Had a great time over drinks with a friend. The vibe is great and the cocktails well balanced.
Really cool spot with good food and drinks! The mussels with sour dough bread have a rich garlicky flavor. My favorite drink is the five and dime, it is citrus based and refreshing.
Wonderful LGBTQ+ bar. One of the oldest in the area. Spacious. High ceilings, nicely appointed, beautiful bar and the drinks were well made.
Burgers are soooooooooo good. Was weirdly busy for 5p on a Friday…had to sit at the bar which was fine but no outdoor seating avail on their newly finagled parking lot patio.
This place is absolutely divine. We sat outside under a marquee in the sun. The food was perfect as were the kombuchas and the owner, Dean, was an absolute delight, taking time to serve us personally, sit and talk. He also owns The Village Idiot on Melrose, so I can’t wait to go there too. Will definitely visit again.
Strange ordering process when outside at tables. You need to order and pay on an app and then about 15 minutes later a random server brings food out and calls your name to look for you. Very disorganized.
I've walked by this place many times and finally decide to stop by pay a visit. The burger was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. The indoor seating was nice and atmospheric. Cool spot to catch up with a friend.
They always let me charge my phone whole they are open and they never make me feel uncomfortable. 5 stars.
Easy one for me.
Years ago, this place held a secret place in my heart. Returning post covid - I had the worst experience, sat with dinner menus but after 30 minutes, no server approached so I finally asked for water and asked to order at the bar. The waiter provided water immediately, but said the kitchen had closed 20 minutes before. Irritated but trying to chalk it up to a misunderstanding, I ordered two cocktails and closed out. They were WAY too sweet, myself nor my partner could drink them. Came back the next night, staffing does not seem to be an issue but the service did not improve, never got our dinner, just walked out after being sat in the back by the bathrooms when no one checked on us for over 40 minutes. This place totally lost cool points with me now: (
Service was very good! Servers fantastic! However, for what you get everything was very overpriced.
-Bloody Mary's were very watery.
-Fish Sandwich was mushy with little flavor. You can tell it was frozen, dethawed, then deep fried. Bun was burnt
-Michelada was also very watery
Prices are very high for what you get. $14 for a sub par Michelada's left me fairly dissatisfied. Price would have been okay if they knocked it out of the park.
A true American Bar with outdoor and indoor service. Cool booths to hang out with friends and to reminisce about the good times while sipping on whiskey or beer.
Funky LA bar with creative drink and food choices. Lots of space and a chill vibe. If you're not looking for a dive bar but don't feel like gussying up for something like the Savoy, this is a great spot.
