The Blazin' Crab, Redlands CA

Second time eating Blazin Crab. First time was pick up and the food was great. Ordered a combo 3 both times. During dine in we were greeted upon entrance and offered to seat ourselves. We chose a window booth. Shortly after we asked if we’d like to ordered drinks so we did and we were ready to order as well. While waiting it was an annoyance of shooing a couple flies that didn’t leave. So I danced with my arms while I ate. We got snow crab, crawfish, shrimp and clams. As well as 2 corn, 4 sausage, and 6 potatoes. The food was fresh, very well cooked and very delicious. We will be back again and again. The waitress checked on us a couple of times which was nice. We didn’t have to hunt anyone down for a refill or more limes. Thank you Blazin crab staff.

The food is amazing and cooked very well. The service is terrible granted it is super busy. It took over 15-20mins for our server to take our order. Once the food came, the bag of seafood was wonderful. My family and I finished our food and wanted to order another bag of shrimp because of how delicious it came out. We wait over 30 mins for our server to finally come to our table. If you come here it’s definitely worth the quality of the food but be warned wait times are long (We personally waited 45 mins) and service is bad.
I personally would not go out of my way to come here again or recommend it to a friend. Nevertheless if a friend was inviting, I would go because the food is good.

I had 4 issues with this place:
1. Spice level is completely inconsistent. They have 0 to 5 levels of heat but if you order anything other than 0 (not spicy) you'll get about level 3 heat regardless. Our grope ordered multiple items with varying level but some got hotter order for level 1 (mild) than level 4 (hot).
2. Despite long wait time with multiple groups, they always have multiple open tables that are just not cleaned up left untouched for a very long time.
3. Their "market prices" are not displayed anywhere the customers can see from their table. I've been to other crab places but this is the only place.
4. Our fried oysters were burned which was strange to us because all their other fried foods like popcorn shrimp and French fries were cooked perfectly.

I love Cajun style seafood, so I visited this location last week with my friends! There were so many people, so I had to wait for a long time. We had 2 children and a baby, so the 30-minute wait wasn't that easy. I told the person in the front we have 3 adults and 2 children and a baby, so a 4-people table with some extra chairs should be fine. But I think she forgot what I said, so she let two other groups of 2 people each go in first on 4-people tables. I had to wait total of 45 minutes, and I wasn't very happy. I understand it was a mistake, and I hope they do a better job next time. The food was good anyway though.

I came in and was greeted by marlene, she was one of the best hostess I have ever met. She was very sweet. Ashley was my server and she was awesome! She was very quick on getting my drinks and was patient with me my family took forever to order but she never rushed us. She kept checking on us making sure my drink were filled and we were okay. Marlene and Ashley have been one of the best people that have attended at blazing crab! And I come here often! Thank you girls for being so kind and sweet to my family and i.

First time, upon arrival waited for 45 minutes went inside to check our place in-line and were told we weren't on the list. Waited again for a Second time, 40 minutes and turned out phone number was put incorrectly by the employee. We didn't wait anymore and just left. Parking was a mess. We would have loved to try this location, but maybe today wasn't the day. Hope to come back another time.

The place is really good place. Good is great. But they lack on answering phone calls and making sure the orders are correct. This is my 3rd time eating here and they are always missing something. This time it was calms. Last time it was craw fish. But everytime it has been only when I call to pick up my food. I have never inside.

If we could give this place a negative would definitely do it! Where do I start? !? ! First off no one came to our table or acknowledge us for 18 min. Once we were a paper bowl with slimy, half eaten looking limes were placed on our table, Even though it was not packed or busy service was slow, tried to stop one of the two women work8ng and was completely ignored. Ordered iced tea it was warm and it was definitely multiple old, ordered calamari totally burnt rubbery hard had to send it back, window sills had dust, lint and dead flies above lighting covered in dust particles that sat completely over the table, lifted up the paper that's placed over the table filth and gunk as if they were never cleaned, This place really needs a health inspection!

I had a bad experience at this restaurant because the waitress are very lazy, unprofessional, rude using profanity words against the customers they should not hired this kind of people at all.should not be considered and be tolerated this behavior while working. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE WITH THIS TYPE OF WAITRESS WORKING AT THIS RESTAURANT THEY NEED TO HIRE PEOPLE WITH GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Combo #1 is well worth the price point. You get to pick three and it comes with corn, potatoes, and sausages. The Cajun Fries are great as well. Great service, good atmosphere, and location. Great job to the crew.

Our waitress was good. Fries came out cold. Prices for the seafood are very good compared to other liked restaurants. We ordered two combo #1s. Oysters were decent for the price. They are not fresh, they are flash frozen oysters (you can taste the tap water). Bathrooms are nasty!

The people who work here clearly hate their jobs. It's written all over their faces when you first walk in.
There could be a degree of racism going on.

The bathrooms are completely disgusting. Graffiti everywhere.

I think what really got my attention was that there were flies circling my table.

The food is great and is spicy if you get the spicy options. The establishment overall though.the restroom is nasty and there's graffiti all over the place. Some says it adds character but it depends who you ask. It's a small place so the wait can be a good one. At the end of the day the food is great and would be good for take out.

I’m a little late on this review it happened about 1 month ago. I ordered doordash to be picked up and when I got there they had given my food away to someone else. I had very important plans and needed to eat to take my medication so when they told me they gave away my food I was very upset. The manager was extremely unprofessional, didn’t want to compensate me in any way besides giving me a free fry? You gave away my food due to YOUR ineptness and now you want me to wait another hour or more when I already did that? No compensation? Doordash would not let me refund my food so I had to get another employee to help me with the refund because the manger was extremely unhelpful. To the owner of blazin crab; give your manager the authority to compensate customers when they mess up, or hire someone who will. (your manager claimed over and over she does not have the authority to help me besides giving me a free French fry) I’ve managed a handful of restraunts and she could’ve easily made our lives less difficult. She also promised the owner would call me which he never did. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not eat here, the owner does not care about you at all and neither does their employee's

Had high hopes for this place. Got the #2 combo. King crab, clams, shrimp, with fried oyster appetizer. The clams and oysters were fishy. The corn and potatoes and sausage tasted like boiled water. The shrimp was okay but for the price it's just not worth it. $120 later and I'm super super disappointed. This was our first crab boil EVER and it was just not good at all. I would never go back and I would never recommend. As I was walking in customers were complaining but we gave it a shot anyways. Wish we didn't. Staff was friendly so I mean that was the only thing Blazing Crab had going for them. Don't do it!
