The Boiling Crab reviews
18 Great service
Shrimp was not at 100%. The location was packed. I love the way the team coordinates, and everyone worked as a team. Everyone jumps to help each other, and I could literally see the lovely community work environments they have.
I expected more. The shrimp was not cooked correctly it was mushy.
The staff is absolutely the best, I love the vibes and music that is played and the food is great.
The service was top notch. The crab legs looked like straws. The meat was only half of the diameter of the leg and half the length. Never seen that before at other locations. The flavor of the sauce was average and as expected. The crab fries had more crab on them than the legs, seriously! The lemon pepper shrimp was unique and was worth the price. Gotta dig under the shrimp to get to the sauce, but its there and good. I will be trying other places.
Unable to eat here due to the wait. We’re told 1.5 hrs and ended up going to the crab place down the street which was great.
Great host greeted and wanted to serve. We received a notification 30 mins later that our table was ready, so we may have waited if that was accurate. Next time we are in town though!
The food there was AMAZING the whole sha bang bag was INCREDIBLE. The sausages were good and the potatoes, the shrimp and crawfish were amazing. Highly recommended!
Apparently there’s a new policy where you cannot buy sauce without buying a lb of seafood or a meat-based entree with fries included. As a vegetarian, this is very disappointing and feels very discriminatory/exclusive, especially when I’ve been buying the sauce by itself for years. Guess my family and I won’t be back for any reason
Perfectly tasty I cordially invite you to have a good time it is nice very well attended and a very good FAMILY atmosphere att you are invited
Not as good as location in San Jose and I asked for corn on the cob with my shrimp and they didn't add
Despite the number of empty seats we still had to wait 1 hour to be seated. Half of my party was waiting outside because we had children, and they can't sit still for long doing nothing. We had to bring them inside because you have to have your whole party inside to be on the list. It was a total disaster. If you have small children this is not the place for you, not very family friendly.
Super cool they have to a Take Location, Employee was friendly, short wait time, I get to eat that at my own comfortable home.
The service was really good but the food. The shrimp was dry, and THEY CHARGE $4.50 for extra sauce, Thats ridiculous.
Have an hour to waste? Look no further. This is the spot.
I have no idea how good the food is. Went in an hour before closing, ordered crab fries to go. I was told that i would receive a text when my food was ready, and I never received this text. Waited 40 minutes until the guy who took my order noticed that I hadn't picked up my food, I guess he forgot to send the text. The food was cold. He did apologize and offered to have them remade, but they had already closed the kitchen, so I just took the refund. Management didn't say anything or apologize for the inconvenience. The inside of the place looked nice, so that's a plus, and had sports on the tvs.
1 tip I can give is that if you're going to order to go here, order 2 hours before closing, just in case.
Had a great experience loved the food and service. My only complaint is the wait time and they did a bit too much salt. Besides that everything was good.
One of my top seafood restaurants. Usually crowded but they get you seated pretty fast. Staff is friendly and does a great job and making sure you’re comfortable and satisfied
The crab fries are really good. Totally worth the price. Margarita and shrimp was also fabulous. The reason for the rating is because I order shrimp and crab. We shared the crab fires and by the time I was 3/4 done with my shrimp I had to ask my server for my crab. She forgot to ring it in. There was no apology or anything. She seemed afraid to come back to the table. She eventually came back and said it was gonna be 7mins before more crab came out; still no apology or explanation. My entire table finished their food before I got my crab. Then my table had to wait for me to eat my crab. Got the bill and the crab wasn’t even comped for her mistake. Was very disappointed in that. My table encouraged me to not make it a thing so we did not get the manager involved, but I just don’t think we’ll be back and figured this review would suffice. I use to be a server so I know the logistics of everything and messing up like that and not apologizing and doing nothing to make up for it is unacceptable customer service. Nice gal, but that doesn’t change the experience when we were celebrating an occasion.
Some of the best seafood you can get in the area. Great food and great service. Unfortunately, on a night when the Kings are playing a big western conference matchup, they decided to air the Warriors game. Very disappointed.
I'm one of those guys that eat just about anything and I must say this food is terrible leaves a bad after taste feel like I drank a qt of oil trying to rinse it down with Gatorade.sorry for bad review
Always a good experience, the food is delicious everytime, the customer service is incredible they will always make it right for you, just love this place
