I'm going to go on and say this is highway robbery! A mens hair and shave is now $60 for a BARBER? Are you kidding me? Last month it was $40! Are you actually paying your employees as fast as you are raising your rates because that is the only reason the price should increase by almost 50 % in one month! The hair cut is fine as it goes nothing special or spectacular that a proper salon could not do! I feel like some businesses are just taking advantage of this " inflation" and raising the prices and using this excuse! I get it things are more expensive but if you can't deliver exceptional quality and are not paying your employees more your just taking advantage and that's how businesses and our economy crashes.

This Barbershop make you feel your welcomed, you are greed when walk-in, the Barber takes his time on haircut. Jim gives a good haircut I will be back, Jim is my barber from now on, Thank you for staying open

When I came in I asked for a mid skin taper the cut he gave me was not even close to what I asked for. So I showed him a picture of what I wanted. He looked at it and with confidence said he could do it. He then proceeded to give me a haircut that looked like I was going to need a haircut after. I would not recommend going here if you are a mixed person. I had to go to another barbershop after and hope they could fix it.

I found this barber shop about 3 years ago when I was looking for a place for my son to get a haircut for Christmas. Since then my son and I have been going there religiously. Jimmy is one of the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met and gives a great cut every time. I highly recommended The Carver barbershop.

This is a great barbershop! I have travelled a lot for work and have gotten my haircut at barbershops all over the world, Jimmy gives me the best cut I have ever had, every time. Even though I no longer live in El Cajon I still make the drive to come here and get my haircut. Give this place a try, you not be sorry you did!

My boyfriend went to Jimmy for a haircut and he came home really happy with his low fade. Other barbers usually don’t get the fade right but Jimmy did an excellent job!

Best haircut experience I've had in years. I was shocked at how inexpensive it was for the quality. Jimmy is a real maestro and I enjoyed chatting with him. I couldn't be happier that I stumbled across this place. The shop was also immaculate.

Made an appointment at 3: 00pm and was greeted exactly at 3: 00pm. I have been in El Cajon for around a year and have tried many barber shops but none compare to this this one! The owner is incredibly friendly, polite, and always on time. The owner also takes time with the cuts so they’re always on point! I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone looking for a fresh cut!
