The Cellar Bottle Shop reviews
17Well curated selection, one of the best bottle shops I've been to. They have a small bar in back too.
Great spot for great beers, one of my favorites in uptown. Constant rotation of beers. For those saying there is no food, you can order food from nearby restaurants for delivery. Everyone who works here is wonderful. Good vibes and clientele, best spot for beer in Whittier.
I drove from the Inland Empire just for this local spot. Every time I visit I feel as if I'm drinking with friends. The bartenders are kind and knowledgeable, always offering recommendations. This last visit Jessie in particular was such a blast to speak with. Her service was top notch and she was able to guide me through drinks. Thanks again for a fun evening.
My favorite craft beer spot in Uptown Whittier! Awesome selection of wines and craft beers. Grace was terrible and provided minor customer service. But the new Manger is even worst. Terrible in all levels of customer service. My biggest complaint was Jose. He no longer works there. He knows beers but he always had bad attitude and hardly greeted customers like the others. I've just witness him complain to much about the customers. I'm just fed up with it. Why put up with that? If you're not happy leave the job or change your mood and provide a better service to the customers. It doesn't keep me from returning. It's my favorite bar. I come for the beer and only the beer. I like the set up and I enjoying watching sports games here.
My server Jesse was fantastic! Easy to talk to and got no complaints on what drink to try. They have many option that change often to keep the menu interesting each time you go. Had such a fun time and was easily served by her. Don't be afraid to ask questions or sample something new you may like!
Cool little brewery with a big variety of beer and wine. Nice staff and clean place. Definitely my new spot to hang out at.
Great selection of brews but no food.it location is perfect. I think it's old Town Whittier.
This place has a great variety both on tap as well as in bottles. Would definitely recommend it!
Update: It remains a small comfy place withe the feeling of a lounge. I enjoy this place more and more. Service is pleasant and I really appreciate the movies playing on the projector.
Nice small bar area with a comfy ambiance. Good selection of beer and wine.
WOW! The selection of wine and beer is amazing, no other place in Whittier comes close.highly recommend The Cellar.
Can't remember the name of my drink but it had a honey flavor to it. Really good if you don't like the taste of beer.
Huge selection of craft brews a d a nice tap selection for enjoying a beer and watching a game.
Prices good. Selection good. Setup good.
They have a Bourbon County Barrel advertisement front and center in their storefront yet didn't receive any Bourbon County this year (and don't have any past Bourbon County). I realize InBev sends Bourbon County to those who sell a lot of Budweiser and Cellar doesn't have Budweiser, but maybe it's time to redecorate?
They had Fremont Brew 4000 on tap, $6 advertised for flight price. But apparently you have to order a whole flight or a full pour. Getting a full pour of a 12.7% beer (or flight) at 12 pm doesn't sound like the best idea when you're driving. I don't know if that's a Covid rule or a California rule, but should definitely be rediscussed. DUI factory. It hurts the bartender too because she could have at least gotten some sort of tip from me today. Since I live in Ohio and am staying in Arizona this is probably the last time I'll get to visit this shop
Cool space. Servers were awesome. Music was sort of loud but not a deal breaker. Enormous can and bottle selection. 24 taps (beer) and 12 taps (Wine). Recommend.
Always a pretty chill atmosphere, and they usually have different beers each time I go. You can sample at your leisure to make sure you buy the 10.5 ounce or pint you know you're going to enjoy 100%. They have a pretty wide and decent selection of beers you can buy to take home as well. There isn't any table service but that is a very minimal "problem" (I'm using the word problem extremely loose here). They allow you to bring outside food but they themselves do not serve food, so bring what you want to snack on and you'll definitely find a beer that goes with it!
The best of the blessed. Heavenly atmosphere, enjoy and experience an abundantly diverse amount of drinks. They are served by kind and helpful bartenders. Unequivocally the best spot in the area
What a cool little bar uptown Whittier. They had an amazing bottle selection including a large tap selection. The decor was also pretty cool. The atmosphere was chill and everyone seemed to be having a great time including the staff. However, a caveat to that is I visited on a Monday and things may be different during the weekend. I do hope to stop in again. (Also, for those beer gurus, they had Russian River, Pliny the Elder on tap). This tells me they try to get top notch beers for the customer.
