The Chateau at Lake La Quinta

From check-in to check-out this hotel is amazing. The property is stunning too. Will be going back, front desk was also extremely helpful.

Jasmine was awesome in accommodating us with the busy weekend! This is our second time coming here this year from San Diego and it’s basically a paradise in heaven. Thank you to the staff for the awesome services and again to Jasmine for being the MVP!

I came back to my room to find that all my belongings that I left in my room were stolen. There are some very serious security issues with this establishment and o recommend staying elsewhere. This incident has cost me thousands of dollars in items I valued. My computer has s gone along with a travel bag that was worth close to 800 dollars and all of its belongings.

Bottom line. Do not stay here. Thieves will get into your room and take all your worldly possessions if you do and don’t expect the local authorities to do anything but take a report.

I’m beyond upset that this took place. There is no way this can ever be rectified.

So the story gets worse. The very next morning someone entered my room at 6 am turned on a light, and woke me up. I thought I was being robbed a second time, but the front desk said it was their maintenance person who entered because there was some misunderstanding or whatnot and put the blame on him for not being a fluent English speaker.

The manager later waived my charges in an attempt to make things right and told me to expect a call from their director about whether I might have some option to file a claim for the stolen property. I never heard back from anyone again after.

Just today on 8/30, my credit card was charged for the the amount that they agreed to credit me. I have called multiple times and no one picks up the phone ever.

Needless to say, this was one of the single worst experiences I have ever had in my entire life, and The Chateau at Lake La Quinta has done nothing but rub salt in the wound.

I wouldn't stay there again if my life depended on it. It's unsafe and the management couldn't care less about their guests. Please find anywhere else to say when visiting the area. I wish I had.

Came for a weekend vacation trip with the stepson and his wife. And the pool is open 24 hrs but the water was warm it was 117 out here today 7/29/2023.

What a charming and beautiful place to stay! Clean, quiet, amazing food, wonderful amenities. Ruben is the most fantastic front desk host I've never met! He remembered my name, provided me with the best customer service, and is a great conversationist.

Everything was great from checking in to the front desk not having me go to the front desk when needing something but instead insisting on bringing it to my room. However, once we checked out instead of releasing the full $81.90 the hotel initially took upon check in, the front desk woman said they would only return $50 and the remaining $31.90 would be a resort fee that is charged. When I checked in I specifically asked the front desk woman if the full amount would be returned and she said yes. TO THE OWNER, you should train your staff to provide guest with VALID information when asked.

Went for dinner. Was looking forward to the scallops, but they didn't have. Service was good. Beet salad was great. Setting was nice. I would go back.

Nice place customer service is excellent the rooms are beautiful with beautiful grounds as well.

This place was great! We stayed for two nights and had a great experience. As with any hotel, we had a few hiccups here and there but the staff was so helpful and kind. Everyone that worked at the hotel was gracious and made us feel so comfortable and stay. I would highly recommend!

The hotel room left a lot to be desired. Mattress high in middle and low on sides. Odd art and color block drapes and red chandelier with a piece missing. Bulb missing from bedside. No clock, no makeup mirror, no full length mirror. But was quiet. Good location. The restaurant, Melange, though is nice inside and out and convenient. Good food and really pleasant staff. Slow, so plan to enjoy the fireplace inside or the black swans on the water.

All the staff were exceptional. So courteous and accommodating. We were greeted with champagne for two, then given an entire bottle when they learned we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious. We will definitely stay there again.

We had my daughter’s bridal shower on the outside patio. It is absolutely beautiful. The food and service was excellent. A very romantic hotel and restaurant. Lovely views, fireplaces, so cozy. Michael is a joy to work with. Ask for Sydney. A delightful server and organizer.
