The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf reviews
13Coffee is okay, I feel like it tastes a little burnt every time I order from here. I’m not too sure how to describe it but it just tastes funky compared to other coffee shops.
No point on doing mobile orders when order isn’t ready. Waiting 20 mins now but everyone in the drive through is getting in and out.
There's no reason why I should have been waiting close to 20 mins for two teas. I was patient enough to wait, hence the mins, but it reached a point that their excuse was not good enough. They apparently placed my teas on the wrong side of the counter. I sincerely believe the person who helped me discriminate against me for reasons I will not post on this review. Corporate should look into this kind of behavior. I don't expect a 5-star service, but I also dont expect a 1 star treatment. They handle my experience very poorly.
When I tip they give the tea immediately, but when I’m broke and cant add a tip to a 5$ cup of tea, they started giving me dirty looks and made me wait 15-20 minutes for my drink…. And
I travel for work all over the I. E.and all I can say is customer service lacks at this location. Of all my visits here I've only had one positive experience and it was with a gal wearing all her "Pride" gear. People just seem miserable to work here, the food isn't always on point, pastries seem to be burnt or very dry. Other locations seem more hospitable, greeting, take time to know the customer, make order recommendations etc. This is the last Coffee Bean location I resort to.
I had the Macha tea. I like Starbucks better. Starbucks ran out of Macha, so I tried it here. It's not the same tasting.
Online it shows you guys close at 10pm. Got kicked out at 9pm.one star till you guys fix that issue.
My absolute favorite place to get my iced lattes! If you haven't tried the cookie butter, it's the best. When in season, pumpkin is another favorite! There drinks are so smooth and flavorful, there teas are awesome! I can get an XL iced latte for the price you would pay at Starbucks for only the large.
Weird that no coffee condiments are available but they don't ask if you want anything. Same with hurting food. No napkin? Pretty slow and they acted put out.
I came in here to study and have some coffee this morning. I walked in with a $600 electric scooter. The manager speedily met me at the table I was setting my stuff down beside. She blurted out " You can't have that scooter in here. " I said, "why not? " She said it is a safety hazard. I folded it and said I can stow it under my table that it's as dangerous as a chair. She said no its against company policy to have scooters and bikes in here and then dashed to the back of the store. I stood there dumbfounded. I came here to study for a while and have some coffee, this manager was unprofessional and curt. I requested from an employee to have the manager come back out so I can speak with her. She asked what it was regarding. I told the employee and she looked at the scooter stowed away and said, " I don't see anything wrong with it. " I said let me talk to your manager though, she came out again and I told her, this is an expensive scooter, I don't feel comfortable leaving it outside to get stolen. Side note: this area is filled with homeless people wandering around, it is not safe to leave your stuff unattended. She again was very curt but ended up agreeing to let me keep it in a separate area of the store, where it would be safe and nobody would take it. This area of the store had tables with chairs stacked on top of them near the front door. I placed it there and then had to ask for the manager again, inquiring if it was okay to set the chair down so I can sit there with my scooter. She stated "no that area is closed off" and told me nobody will mess with it there.
The entire encounter felt like harassment. It may be my imagination, but it is still mention worthy that this is a white lady in charge speaking to a brown skinned male customer. I must also note, meanwhile there's a homeless man with a huge military sized duffel bag set on top of a stroller in the store. The homeless man is sitting there, unharassed. Get your manager, she acting up for no reason.
Excellent Coffee bean with many options! I always have an ice blended drink when I come to coffee bean and I’m on cloud nine as I exit the door. I recently had the cookie butter ice blended drink at this location and I was very happy with it! The store is always very clean and the staff is super upbeat and friendly. It always annoys me that baristas are snooty like at Starbucks but I never run into that issue here. It’s a cool, fun-loving environment with nice people. It’s close to the movie theater which is also a huge plus!
First time here and the drive thru lady was so unpleasant also what in the world was that? I paid $5 for some microwaved circles of eggs with 1strip of bacon split in half for that thick piece of tasteless egg.so gross the chalula sauce helped but ended up throwing the rest of the egg away
