17If you’re looking for a good vegetarian patty this is the place to come to. This is a good option especially for those who are not looking for a patty that tastes like meat!
Positive: A wide range of menu choices and I like the taste.
Not so good: The prices are too high for a weekday lunch IMHO ($25 in my case). Also, I would like to have more low caloric food choices. In addition, although the staff is very friendly, I was unhappy on several occasions: Bringing food but forgetting the cutlery or not offering a refill on the drinks.
Loved the customizations for the burger and the staff was really nice. Buffalo burger was good but a little too rare for medium-rare my taste. I'll order medium next time.
Mixed feelings... Burgers are pretty good but kinda expensive. Service was ok. Oddly, the menu doesn't have a base price for the 'make your own burger'. It only has pricing for the 'add ons'. When I asked how much the base price for the 'make your own burger was, the waitress said 'I think it's... ' at which I interurpted her and said 'please be sure of the price. (so she went and checked). Also odd, the base price is $11.95. But the basic hamburger is only $8.95? I'm not sure that makes sense? Also, my friend got the 'make your own burger and asked for aoli and mustard. They charged $0.50 for mustard (2nd condiment) ? A burger place charges for mustard? I must admit, I have NEVER heard of that. We did also order a 'side' of the fried brussels sprouts. Those were VERY tasty! Overall, for a mature established franchise, I'd expect better trained employees and a more sensible pricing structure. At least they got the food right! It's fairly unlikely that I would go back.
Good food but won't be heading back for a while because of the 20% service charge. I suppose this is a way for the company to avoid paying taxes on the increased revenue from higher prices, were they to increase menus prices rather than a service charge to increase wages. Would like the company to place a notice on their door that a 20% living wage increase service charge will be on all final receipts.
Great food. Quality service from the staff. Even for indoor dining, there's plenty of ventilation since they open up the back.
Parking can be tight though.
Good food and service but the automatic 20% "living wage fee" added to the check felt deceptive and surprising. The fee did not appear on the check until I had gave them my card, and when the bill came back (and I'd already paid) the total was 20% higher than presented on the bill.
Nice place but the experience is not consistent, sometimes the food and service is amazing but once in awhile the food isn't made two instructions and service can be slow!
Beware! They do not honor the happy hour menu. They'll secretly charge you full price unless you complain. Look at your bill/receipt. They'll claim it's getting "back to normal". That's BS. They are charging non happy hour prices during happy hour. Nothing normal about that.
To answer the owner.your staff intentionally charged me the non happy hour menu item leading it to be twice the price. Your POS does not prevent this. She was very proud of charging me the wrong item when I brought it up.
Expensive, ($70 for 2 burgers, 2 sodas, fries and tater tots) after they automatically added a 20% tip.uncool.service wasn't 20% good. But the burgers were good.
The place has good burgers and good options for beers. They have very little indoor seating with COVID occupancy but plenty outside.
We loved our burgers and sandwiches from here. We did takeout though. I'm sure everything would have tasted even better if we could have eaten there.
20% automatic gratuity charge for a place with NO - NONE - NADA service. I am surprised by this place's attitude - no service at all.everything is self-serve except the initial food serving. And, then why do they automatically charge 20% gratuity? Is it because it is coronavirus time? Other restaurants are not that bad at all. I don't understand this place at all.regretted going here.
Stopped in about 6 PM on Saturday. The burger was dry as if it had been sitting for a while and then *the staff ripped me off*. They might as well just stay closed if that is going to be the quality of the food and complete lack of service. They have you order at the counter and I payed when I ordered. I didn't actually see an Itemized bill, so so I just added on a good tip. It seemed very expensive though, so I went back and asked for the itemized bill. They are currently adding a 10% gratuity even though it is essentially carry out that you can eat there. Since I didn't know about the 10% gratuity, they got over a 30% tip. I probably should have talked to the manager since not giving me the itemized bill was obviously deliberate. If they had just showed me the itemized bill, I probably would have given them extra. Adding an automatic and unexpected gratuity is a bad idea for several reasons. Just pay your employees properly. At this point, I probably will not be going back. I can make a much better burger than that at home; I just happened to be out and about.
We were in their private room for my birthday dinner last night. Food was delicious. Service superb. Jazz trio delightful. Highly recommend!
It was my first time ordering here the lady was not helpful at all I made the mistake and paid the tip in the beginning. When the lady dropped off my fries she never asked if I wanted anything else or ketchup or anything she dropped and ran then my burger came out same thing drop and ran didn't ask me if I needed anything else no one came bye so I had to go ask for a to go box the burgers suck prices are crazy will not return the employees where drinking in the back
When I went there were a few customers ordering inside who were not fully wearing their masks with their noses exposed. One of them took off his mask to cough. The restaurant workers didn't say or do anything and took their order. I noped out of there after that.
With already 230K dead, millions who have suffered and millions more at risk, I'll wait to come back here (if ever) when the pandemic subsides. There are plenty of other burger places around.
