Restaurant The Cruisery reviews
16Great service from Taylor on a late Valentine's evening. Delicious cocktails, adeptly made in house beer and yummy food.
The atmosphere, drinks, food and staff were amazing! There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this place! The couch seating was perfect after a long day walking. The Impeachment punch was enough to share. They have cards against humanity decks at the hostess stand too! Made for a great time. The sweet and spicy Thai wings were phenomenal!
Djannah (sp?) was awesome as well! Super helpful when picking out food and had some great conversation! Felt like I belonged haha.
We thought it was really on point. The cocktails were great, not Good Lion/Lab Social great, but only a sliver off that mark. Service was outstanding, with our server spotting a slightly dirty glass before serving it and quickly pushing through a new drink. The servers really worked as a team to support one another, despite being pretty young; either they came with a lot of experience or I bet the management here gets it and how to train staff. Courteous care and eyebrow raising drinks drinks were matched by a tasty kitchen, making the Cruisery a welcome addition to our Santa Barbara selection.
It’s worth also giving a shout out to their happy hour, which is long and decently generous. With the Tuesday Street Market wrapping at 6: 30pm and Cruisery Happy hour from 3-7pm, this is a natural spot to stop in whilst out Tuesday evening at the market.
Amazing food, great cocktails, great beer and fantastic service. This place easily became one of my favorite bars in the country after one visit
Our server was the best. Very friendly and super attentive. The food was pretty good too. Great happy hour! Would definitely recommend the build-your-own nachos special on Monday nights.
P. S.the server was a nice lady with dyed red hair and glasses. Sorry, don't know how to respond to your comment!
Came here to see if they could repair my bicycle, a bit disappointed in regards to my bicycle, but the cocktails were good as heck. And the presentation was neat as heck. The beer was good too. Nice high ceilings. There is a sign saying the restrooms are in the basement, but there is no basement which is my only complaint. It was a very satisfying experience nonetheless.
The beer was good, the food was decent, but this place scores a ZERO for atmosphere. Football was showing on multiple TV screens, blasted at deafening levels. So it was a HORRIBLE alienating experience.
Sehr interessante Biere, alle vor Ort selbst gebraut. Das Essen ist auch sehr gut. Bier und Essen werden in sehr schönem Ambiente serviert. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Top Empfehlung in Santa Barbara!
Came to SB on vacation, and stumbled across this wonderful spot while walking around State Street. From the moment I stopped to ask Heather about their beer to the moment I shook hands with Rudy and left, these guys made me feel at home. Good selection, great beer, and great service. And absolutely try the crack fries. Seriously.try them. Thanks guys!
Food had very little taste, tasted "old" (we had the Banh Mi flatbread and the chicken street tacos. The beer was lackluster at best with a little funk (maybe dirty beer taps). A lot has changed: (
They have a great happy hour and solid variety of apps, entrees, and drinks! I really liked the skinny margarita, flatbreads, and elote.
First visit and only time for a couple of drinks. Great little funky vibe with bicycles hanging from the ceiling.
Dustin does a great job on cocktails!
Looking forward to coming back.
Horrible. If I could give negative numbers I would. Came in had apps and drinks. I ordered a Moscow mule what I got tasted like vodka, soda water and mint it was disgusting. We ordered chicken nachos, came out cheese was barely melted and like 8 tiny pieces of chicken so glad we paid extra for that. We ordered wings as well and the thai chili tasted like oil, hot sauce, and soy mixed together very oily. Very disappointed. Waitress was too busy to take our full order we literally ordered drinks and food at the same time for her to say 'oh we're busy I'll be back to take your food order'. Overall feel place is too citchy for them to care about quality items such as customer service, quality food, and quality drinks. But dont worry when you ask for you check they can do that super fast.
I’ve been wanting to come here since it opened, and I finally had the chance! I came with a group of friends, and we all really enjoyed our drinks and meals. The empanadas and Mexican Cobb salad were delicious! I also enjoyed the Flapper Girl beer and the The Floor is Guava cocktail. Great menu and lots of fun!
Awesome grilled shrimp tacos with a kicking sauce. And the Crack Fries are appropriately named; could have chowed on those all day. Cool vibe and great service.
The Cruisery is a nice brewery/restaurant that is in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. On a prime corner of world famous State Street, the Cruisery offers brewed on site beers and a tasty little menu.
Walking distance to the beach it's a good little spot to grab a drink, watch a game, or get a bite to eat.
