Very friendly and welcoming team. Every detail procedure was explained and options were discussed for me to understand planned care. Very much about the patient first and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Maggie is a wonderful hygienist and very understanding.

I was a child who had a lot of dental work done at a young age and ended up with a terrible fear of the dentist. As I changed jobs over the years, I either had a poor selection of HMO dentists to choose from, or I just didn't go because I was afraid. I started a new job a few years ago and selected Dr. Garofolo because his office was central to my home and my workplace. What a blessing! His office is state of the art, his staff are extraordinarily talented, patient, and constantly learning, and he shares stories about how his own personal fear of the dentist has caused him to provide me with that level of care and comfort so that I can relax and have fear free visits. I have referred a good friend and family member who are both seeing different doctors in this office and are equally pleased and impressed with their treatment so far. I highly recommended this office for any dental needs you have.

What a wonderful experience. Safoura, my hygienist, was so gentle and thorough. My teeth feel great and I had no pain! Dr. Kapur was also so kind and patient with me. I had a lot of questions and he took the time to listen and understand my needs, as well as help prioritize the things I should get treated first, especially since we're on a tight budget going into the holidays. Ria, Shannon, and Victoria at the front were also super helpful as well. They helped go through my insurance to make the best of what benefits I have left for the year. They also found a last minute appointment for me that works with my schedule.

Also another shoutout to Maggie who I forgot to thank for my cleaning last visit. She has taken great care of me and my son with our cleanings the last few visits!

It feels like going to a spa. They are so attentive from the time you walk in until you leave (and beyond). I was terrified to go to the dentist after a 15 year hiatus. Not a problem, I was not shamed, I was encouraged. They explain all the financial and allow you to make the decision. Happy Friendly Staff! Dr. Garofolo is very understanding and thorough. I look forward to my appointments.

To preface this: I work in the dental field and have seen many offices in my life thus far.

This office is amazing! Not only is it beautiful and clean, but the experience was made great as well. Upon entering, I was greeted by the front and taken back fairly fast. They offered a variety of things to make my visit more comfortable and they really made sure to get to know me and my history (medical and life!) at the beginning, which was really refreshing. It felt like they were really interested in my life and making sure I had all my dental needs met.

Madison, the hygienist, did an amazing job with my X-rays and cleaning and allowed me all the time I needed with my gag sensitivity. She was compassionate and calming and for that I can’t wait to continue getting cleanings with her. She made me feel comfortable and not at all embarrassed by my bodily reactions.

Dr. Kapur was just as great. He was not only thorough, but made sure to explain everything to me and explain why we were doing what we were doing. He genuinely asked questions about my life/concerns and did what he could to try and help / make sure my follow up appointments were easiest as possible for me. I can’t wait to see him again.

The ladies at the front were also super knowledgeable, kind and helpful as well. They offered me early morning appts (before I started work!) as well as lunch appts and completely worked with my schedule to breakup my follow up treatment appointments into more manageable sessions.

I’ve been to, and worked for, a lot of different offices in my life- this experience was truly different. The patient care they offered was a step above most offices and I cannot think of another office that I’d recommend more. Thank you Dr. Kapur and team!

I have been receiving treatment from this practice for approximately 15 years. The office engages in current practices and offers up to date treatments making visits easy and comfortable. Dr Garofolo and staff are very attentive, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this practice.

I’m fairly new to San Diego and I’ve been looking for a new dentist out here. I have got to say the Dentistry Collective is by far one of the most elite offices I’ve been to and is very similar to my previous dentist in Northern CA. Dr. Garofolo is awesome, very thorough and honest (which is hard to come by these days). The Dentistry collective team is so friendly and caring. I absolutely felt like I was taken care of when I came in for my visit. Everyone from the front office to their lovely hygenist Safoura was so kind! I felt like home being at the dentistry collective. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to come here for their dental needs. You’ll be in great health and hands!

Great experience with my fillings. Completely Painless, after a bit numbing, and ready to go one with my day. Madison and Dr G were great, professional and friendly.

I know Dr. G through Brazilian jiu jitsu and both my husband and I have been seeing him for years. My appointments are usually quick and I hardly ever have to wait long. The staff remembers my name and is extremely polite. The dental hygienists are helpful and understanding. 10 out of 10, I recommend this dental office.
