I never write negative reviews because I’m a business owner and understand that they can be distorted, but I wanted to share my experience so that others wouldn’t become stressed and frustrated like me. Five years ago I was unhappy with both the design and SEO of our old website that the Final Code built for my dad. Larry intervened and warned me against trying another SEO company because he said that their coding was poor; despite my discontent with their work so far, I opted to stay with them to give them a second chance. Unfortunately, I soon found out that their communication was really poor, which is something I’ve read others say about them on Yelp. There were whole weeks that would pass where I would email them and hear no reply, which caused a lot of needless stress and anxiety because my website is a big source of business for my family and I needed it up as soon as possible. The people I dealt with were pleasant enough, they just didn’t reply in a timely manner or explain what was taking so long. As a token of my gratitude for the work they put in on my website, I gave the designer a $100 credit card, which he never even acknowledged receiving, much less thanking me. I kindly explained to Larry that I was very stressed by the poor communication and how long the whole process took (several months longer than I asked), and he told me what I’ve read that he tells other customers – “There are 2 sides to every story. ” The problem is that Larry never demonstrated any interest in my side of the story. A few months later, my customers notified me that something was wrong with the mobile version of the website and I asked Larry if he could change it – it was a small thing that I needed fixed (rearranging a couple icons). He rudely laughed and said, “No one’s going to notice that” – except that my customers noticed it, which is why I asked in the first place. I want to say that I have nothing personal against Larry or anyone at the Final Code; they seem like decent people, they just don’t know how to communicate. Reading the negative reviews on Yelp confirmed this poor communication-apparently a former customer sued them, yikes-so I should have known better. I spoke with Larry about my discontent, but in ignoring me and failing to even pretend to care, he left me with no choice but to leave this review. P. S. I would take these reviews with a grain of salt, since a couple years ago the Final Code offered me some kind of discount for reviewing them on social media; I never heard back from them about that incentive (lol), so I assume they knew I would leave a negative review and cherry-picked customers from whom they expected positive responses. Caveat emptor

The Final Code did our website, we went from being outdated to modern with good optimization, a complete change over. I am extremely happy, that I have shared my experience with other business's. What I feel is that the Owner of the Final Code is a true "Website Professor" in that he has taken the time to explain things to me, get me involved in the new site, understand the importance that a website has in today's marketing world for people to be able to find you. I continue to foster this relationship with the company in doing other projects. I look foreword to the continued relationship. Thank You Larry and his team! ! You have taken me from the dark ages to a modern world.by the way I interviewed quite a few sites and people before going with The Final Code that was recommended to me.it was an actual past employee that recommended them. The Final Code was our saving grace, putting together the pieces of our site under a tight turnaround. Larry was (and still is) very patient with my changes and requests and equipped Western Outdoor News with an excellent website. Highly recommended!
