Friendly staff.slightly rustic setting.competent, but so-so food (e.g. Bread was way too oily; gravy on the pork and chicken dishes seemed a bit too similar; slightly tough chicken; too much cinnamon on the apple tart). Ok wine by the glass.

Great ambiance, service and amazing food.

Ordered the roasted brussel sprouts starter, filet mignon main and special of the day— lamb cutlets. All three were delicious. Friend paired the beef with Malbec wine- the latter was so- so.

We were so stuffed that we skipped desserts.

This was such a gem! Ambiance is great for a date night. The menu looked good and I wanted to try it all, but the belly can only hold so much! My friend and I started with the charcuterie platter then I had the Kurobuta pork chop and my friend at the filet mignon, both cooked to perfection! We did not get to try the desserts since we were so full, but we will keep coming back until I can try all the dishes. Wait staff was also very nice and courteous. I will be back to try the other dishes. So happy to find this place. They also have a small room in the back from parties of about 14 people, so you can book a small event.

Dined at the Firehouse Bistro for the first time to celebrate my friend's birthday. Everything from the food to the service was excellent! Our server Cameron was great! We were given wine to share a celebratory toast. A creme brulee birthday dessert with a lit candle was given to my friend. The food was delicious. We had manila clams PEI mussels, seafood risotto and Chilean Sea bass. They were all amazing! I definitely want to come back.

This place is an absolute gem! A must go to if you are in the area. The food is delicious, the atmosphere unbeatable, the manager a delight. It’s my favourite restaurant in the entire Bay Area! In fact. The atmosphere is so wonderful, it makes you forget you are in Silicon Valley. Best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time.

Attentive and personalized service. The Caesar salad was a little fishy cause we forgot to say no anchovies. The salmon was tasty and fresh. It came with risotto which was delicious. Also had the scallops; the sizes were desirable. It came with the perfectly cooked polenta and asparagus.

Had the chocolate cheesecake for dessert. It was light, too light.

I celebrated my nomination this evening in this great place. Well we had a brilliant evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly one of the reasons for that fruitful meeting. The crew contributed in a sweet manner, the cooking was yummy and my buddies were so glad. We shall absolutely come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

Quirky decoration, pretty delicious food. Nice place for friends gathering and family outing
