The Flame Broiler, Costa Mesa CA

Its only good if you get the right thing. Their chicken veggie is amazing, but here tofu is not all that great. I like the mini, sense its smaller, and I have not had any bad experiences yet. I hope you make the right call on what to get.

This place was disgusting if you check under the soda machine it’s all rusted and disgusting the lady didn’t get my order right they only had one kind of soda I tried to tell them that they got my order wrong and they ignored me super rude never going there again

Arrived 30 mins before closing (9: 00p). Out of beef, tofu vegetables - only chicken and rice. Watched 5 different people walk in and then walk out when then found out they didn’t have all menu items. I mean really, you have 5 items on your menu and you’re out of 3. Like In-N-Out saying “sorry, we only have fries and shakes tonight”. Maybe they just didn’t feel like cooking more for our group since they were breaking things down. On a Friday night, you’d hope they would be more prepared. It wasn’t very clean either.bathroom atrocious. Chicken was okay. Very disappointed.

I ordered 2 plates of food and got the wrong order and when I called they told me to drive back down and then wouldn't let me get the food. Worst customer service ever

I’m a vegetarian so I always older tofu plate or bowl. I ordered tofu plate this evening and I saw some meat in my plate. As a human I know that we make mistakes. It’s acceptable to some level. But I saw unacceptable amount of meat in my plate today. And I was the only guy out there so it is very unlikely that they mistakenly mixed tofu with meat. Plus the fruit is not fresh either.

Low quality food. Flame Broiler serves low quality vegetables, especially the cabbage. Cabbage core is served instead of cabbage leaves.

Cheap 'healthy' food, but poor quality meats. Usual upset stomach, diarrhea. Don't go there anymore.

This place us always extremely clean, organized and food is always fresh! Friendly staff as well!

Freshly made meat and they don't charge you for customizing the veggies.

No family special though.

I really like that the food is always fresh and hot here. Service is quick and it's a pretty good place to pick up a healthy meal for just under $10.

I particularly enjoy the beef bowl with white rice no veggie. Or when I'm feeling wild I get it mixed 50/50 with chicken.

I love flame broiler but this location is always dirty and the service people have horrible attitudes. Just the worst

Food and service is great specially from cashier liliana very friendly girl and always welcomes you with a smile

Would have give this place five stars but the cooker in back was flipping my food with same tongs she was grabbing the raw meat with.

Love the tofu and brown rice with veggies. At the risk of sounding cheesy, theagic sauce is indeed magical.

Horrible customer service, place was dirty and dark. Rude employees. I love flame broiler but this was the worst one I've ever been to. I ask the dude to separate my veggies from my bowl and he looks at me as if I was speaking some foreign language. Charges me extra for it when every other flame broiler I've been too had no problem with it. I don't care about paying extra but if you get offended by me having my food the way I want it then you should re consider your career path. It was a very unpleasant experience and I hope their management does something about it.

Love these guys! The food was prepared fast and was delicious. The prices seem a little high, however, the quality of the food is worth the cost. Check them out today!
