The Flame Broiler-Vista

Placed an online order for 12: 15pm. When I arrived at 12: 22pm the order ticket was still sitting at the register. They made it about 5 minutes after I arrived, which I don’t mind waiting. The problem I had is with the food. I had a mini beef bowl and the beef was tough and chewy. I didn’t even finish my bowl. I think they changed their meat distributor, this beef now is like a thin shaved beef. The staff seemed really disorganized. There was grayish looking chicken sitting on the grill that looked questionable… overall not impressed, go down the street to Surf Brothers.

The food is great but haven't been in awhile because they close too early for us to have dinner. They used to clise at 9: 00, but this 4: 00 stuff is ridiculous! We live over on the other side of Vista and made the trek over here to grab it when we wanted and then all of the sudden one day they started clising at 4 and have not returned to regular hours. Beyond disappointing!

Ohh Im so happy i found this place! My friends and I always have lunch around this plaza and we tried this place the first time today. Such affordable price for amazing volume if food! Im usually still hungry at most of lunch place but this place's regular bowl made me full. And they are relativeley healthy. Meat and veggies, brown rice etc. Tofu option is great. Love the selections of sauces. Staffs are friendly and cheerful. We will roundup our friends and come back here again for sure!

I really like the food here, but I do wish they had a little more flexible hours. Such as being open on Sunday. I've not eaten here more often than actually getting food here just because of hours of operation.

I thought it was a burger joint. Surprise it's not. I had teriyaki beef bowl. It was good.

Food is good, staff is okay. Can’t justify more than three stars for a place that closes at 6pm during the week and is closed all day Sunday.

Out of pricipal I have to warn people. They are charging well above posted prices. Add 20-21% to whatever they advertise on the menu. See pics. Was on the road all day so decided to grab a quick Angus beef mini bowl for my dog for $5.60 and and a regular half and half for $7.35. Was charged [before tax] $7.10 and $9.25. If the prices changed that is one thing but you need to tell people, otherwise get up on a ladder and fix it. One star was from my dog.she didn't notice and 2 because we ate it all. Minus 2 stars for management/ownership.

Flame Broiler offers a delicious rice bowl served with fresh vegetables, tofu, beef and/or chicken. Top your bowl off with their special sauce and you are ready to enjoy. The food is healthy, looks and tastes good. It is a nice change from the regular fast food offerings. When you have eaten your food you are satisfied but you will not feel guilty because everything is healthy.

Small but nice and clean. Staff is a little hard of hearing and get distracted easily. The part that through us off was weighing out the meals on food scale. Don't get me wrong I'm not looking for a overflowing amount of food but for $10 a regular bowl I expect a little more. They weren't even full spoons of protein.
