We had a lot of fun hanging out here. Not many flowers in bloom unfortunately, but there is watching the “influencers" take shot after shot of the same Ole shi*. There is blueberry picking and a few aviaries. Obviously there are clean restrooms and amenities. It's definitely worth a visit. Check the weather and the latest bloom info for the best experience. Plan on walking up a slight hill. Other than that, it's flat and easy. See the pics I attached. Lots of cool little couples photo ops.

Absolutely gorgeous place even on a gloomy day. I've already recommended this place to friends and family when they come to visit SD.
Seeing the amazing displays of flowers (birds and butterflies too) made my heart smile. This will probably be my go to "me day" from now on. Also, couldn't leave without bringing home new flowers for my collection.

We did not go to the flower fields but we're on a Mazda test drive that took me by them.

We went on the last day of the season so that's likely why the flowers were not as popping as anticipated. Wish they advertised tractor rides with ticket sales on-line and at the door - we tried getting on at the back of the fields and were told we had to buy a pass back at the front which was just a bit off putting. Would have been nice to get to ride from there then pay at the front.

Great place to take family. Lots of safe space for kids to run, playground, and tractor rides. Lots of photo opportunities; plus all the beautiful and interesting plants.

Perfect setting for relaxation. A great Mother's day gift. They sell the ranunculus bulbs and potted plants.

The Flower Fields of Carlsbad is an amazing place to visit, an hour north of San Diego. During peak season you can explore hundreds of acres of diverse flowers, from sunflowers to orchids, tulips, roses and lilies, and the list goes on. You can also pay to pick blueberries and fill a bag. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours here and there is a nice food court that makes it a one stop shop for a fun experience!

It's pretty but honestly overpriced for getting to walk around. Entrance was like $25 per person and everything inside is an additional cost which felt absurd. We won't be back.

The flower fields are truly a sight to behold. While our visit was during mid-March when the flowers were not fully bloomed yet, we still had a wonderful experience. The fields were picturesque, and the vibrant colors of the flowers added a touch of beauty to the surroundings.

One aspect that made the visit even more enjoyable, especially for the kids, was the scavenger hunt. It added an element of excitement and exploration to the trip. It engaged their curiosity as we searched for hidden treasures amidst the flowers. The hunt made the visit interactive and kept them entertained throughout the experience.

Although the flowers were not in full bloom during our visit, I could still appreciate the charm and potential of the fields, I can only imagine how breathtaking it would be to witness the fields in their full glory later in the season. Nonetheless, the partially bloomed flowers still created a lovely ambiance and provided a memorable experience.

Overall, I highly recommend visiting this place. The beauty of the surroundings, combined with the fun scavenger hunt, made it a worthwhile experience for both adults and children alike. It's an ideal destination to immerse yourself in nature's beauty and create lasting memories with your family.

It was the last day for their extended season. The flowers were still blooming & they had superb variety of beautiful flowers. It became crowded really fast. Love to visit the flower fields for a nice photoshoot.

We went on Mother's day. Even though we had a difficult time parking due to the amount of people that were there, we had a great time. Well organized and my girlfriend had a blast.

Beautiful, but it was hard to see because it wasn't open and closed May 1st. I wish I could have walked in thete with them. I recommend to plan your visit for April. The nursery had beautiful flowering plants.

“So many flowers”, that’s what our toddler said when we first arrived! The Flower Fields are not just the acres of fields, it’s also beautifully planted gardens to walk through, fountains, a maze, a butterfly garden and even a u-pick blue berry patch!

Parking was crowded but we actually got a spot quickly. Scanning our pre-purchased tickets at the entrance was a breeze, and there were no lines.

There was plenty to look at and plenty of great photo spots. They had a wagon ride that would pull you around the grounds to see everything all in one go.

They had a two food options, pizza and tacos. We had the pizza which was very tasted and the lines were not long. They had a few snacks too, like ice cream and cotton candy. All the food and snacks were expensive… $11 for each of the ice cream sundays we purchased.

The u-pick blue berry patch was a very long walk… all the way at the end of the property, not even on the map. We decided not to walk all that way since we had little ones and it was close to nap-time. But we saw many people who did enjoy the berry patch and said the walk was nice.

Over all a great place for a family day out. We walked through Armstrong nursery on the way out and they had some cut Ranunculus for sale and we got a few to remember our wonderful day at The Flower Fields!
