I hated to have to spend the money. The Foundation works company gets A+ plus from me. I loved the fact that I could make my payments online. Fantastic job, great workers and they were wonderful people courteous and nice just the type of people you want working around your home. They told me and showed me what was going on every day. After their part of the work was done I had to get another person to do the Outside Stucko work. Andrew the Forman from Foundation Works still set up the city inspections for the stucco work. Andrew stayed with me meeting with the City Inspector until all the work on my foundation was completed. I’m going to miss talking to Andrew.

The Foundation Works is a five star company. I am so pleased to have found them on the EBB (Earthquake Brace Bolt) website. The Foundation Works inspector, Matthew Monks went into the crawl space of my home to inspect the entire foundation. Matthew explained to me what they had to do to my home for the EBB brace bolt program. Matthew recommended additional work to my homes foundation, and I gladly had them do all that was recommended. The work crew was terrific, showed up on time, and always left the work area clean. They also completed the job within the time frame they had stated. Received inspection report, scheduled the work without any pressure from the company. They just inform you of what’s going on. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and worked hard for 5 days straight. They would take the time to answer any questions I had. I feel secure in that they address the current and potential future issues.

The Foundation Works repaired some posts under the house. They provided a detailed report of the work to be done. They accommodated last minute time changes that I had to make. They provided pictures of the repaired posts and a detailed explanation of the work. I had some more extensive work done several years ago.

This company did an amazing job, quickly and efficiently. I was kept in the loop each step of the way from the office staff.
The guys who came out to do the actual work, were friendly and professional.
Now I feel as if my house is better equipped to withstand an earthquake because of them bolting and bracing the foundation of our house.

Foundation Works was one of 3 companies who I had give me an estimate for Earthquake Brace and Bolt retrofitting. Their estimate was the most expensive of the 3 so you might ask "why did I choose them? " Well, for 1 thing, the inspector who came spent nearly an hour and a half under the house and gave me a very comprehensive and clear estimate that reflected both the work that was within the guidelines of the EBB program as well optional improvements based on the condition of the foundation. Upon selecting them as my contractor, they have been extremely communicative about what's been going on in the process of EBB submission and approval. There were several instances where their estimate required revisions and resubmission through the EBB website and they always handled it quickly and with clear communication. I am currently awaiting approval so I have not actually had them perform the work yet but thus far the service and followthrough has been stellar and I have high confidence they will do a good job.

Best foundation company out there. They have all star inspectors who are extremely knowledgeable and transparent. Blair is so helpful with scheduling, and so easy to communicate with. I recommend The Foundation Works to all my clients, and have used them personally. Appreciate all their hard work and will continue using them!

Wanted to express my high praise to the crew Tracy, Skyler, Martin, and Ernesto. All were very helpful and outgoing. Tracy was first to introduce herself and explain what the process was for the day. Crew showed up at 7am and under the house by 7: 30.

I had work done before the Retrofit. The extra work was to fix some faults in the foundation. In doing the city retrofit, there were found some faults with the previous job, and went the extra effort to fix those issues. Reason why I bring this up is to inform those who may read this review, I found this very important as to the crew who ID the faults, and proceeded ahead to fix. If I hadn’t ask I would have not been any the wiser.

The front office contact Ryan was hands on, providing 3 cost points, - the retrofit, the none city retrofit, and all three combined. They provided the pictures before and after. Now, with this work done I’m expecting to see a price reduction in my Earthquake insurance up to 25%. My ROI for this project will be 5 years.

I price out 4 contractors- to see who would be detailed in the work to be completed. After going back and forth I went with this company. Being an retired procurement officer, everything is based on the details and followup. Any job you are paying thousands of dollars on, you want this type process.
