It is always fascinating to learn new things and remember old experiences. The place is an oasis of learning and space of solace in the middle of a very busy but beautiful city of Angels.

They could do a lot more with this space. Barbara Kruger, still, again, over and over. I think a lot more interesting artists have “emerged” that could use the opportunity. But ehi, ‘museums’ always a few steps behind. Still with Warhol, Rauschenberg and Rothko. Enough!

To tell you the true that's just a short cut that I take on my way to the exchange, maybe someday I'll stop and take a look around.

I really enjoy this place. Staff is very knowledgeable, mostly practicing artists who are quite willing to talk about what they do.

Very interesting! If you buy a ticket to the MOCA dtla, it also gets you into this MOCA as well. It was a unique experience. It's very dark so wear flat shoes. The employees have flash lights for areas with steps but you should still walk slow. The exhibit itself was cool too! Definitely a must see!

Always enjoy visiting the Geffen Contemporary. Visit the 442nd War Memorial that is just steps away. There is a free shuttle that goes to the DTLA MOCA that stops here, how convenient!

A great venue for Art and close to other museums in downtown LA, smack in the middle of Little Tokyo!

Message from artist a little bit of a downer but, well done. Take a cell phone with flashlight app with you, it's a little dark
inside and floor is uneven.

It's a bit small. The main branch of MOCA has more to see. However, it's nice to walk around that neiborhood. Little Tokyo is literally across the street.

The museum has two location. This one, The Geffin, is situated near a Japanese influenced area, little Japan, it has currently a wonderful exhibit by a talented scupture, creative use of space, innovative lighting, knowledgeable staff. One fee (seniors $10.00) covers both sites with, in our opinion the Geffin site have the stronger exhibit.

The Geffen is a must see when visiting Los Angeles. I believe the exhibits change every so often, and the artist decides what to show.

We attended the exhibition of Adrián Villar Rojas: The Theater of Disappearance and had the chance to jump into a free guided tour. This former police car warehouse is huge and perfect for this kind of monumental installations. For this particular event, visitors had to walk in the darkness and explore the artworks with their phone lights, super exciting!

Great space. I went during an evening event which offered free entry to the exhibition.very helpful staff, interesting contemporary art.wheelchair friendly ramps.please be informed no bar or cafe at the site and the site is not always open. Make sure you always check if the Geffen is open before purchasing the ticket at the Moca Downtown which includes the entry at the Geffen.

Came to see some art on a school field trip. I don't understand art much, therefore I was not very amused. The sculptures and art pieces being displayed were interesting.

For those who like contemporary art, it is a nice place to chill for a little, especially on Thursday when after 5pm it is 'free but donations are welcome'. I personally am not a huge fan of contemporary art, as I went there for a Japanese tea tasting, but In would recommend it to those who enjoy a contemporary art museum.
