I showed up a few minutes early, and they were very welcoming and directed me to the waiting area. I didn’t have much of a wait at all. Marcus cut my hair and trimmed my beard. He was very friendly, and helped me figure out the best cut for my hair type and length. I’ve had a lot of issues before where barbers would cut my hair too short and it would look terrible because of the type, but there was no issue with Marcus. The conversation was great and felt really quick for a hair cut and beard trim, plus wash and styling. I would say the price was really worth the results and experience. Definitely going back.

Fernando has been getting me right for years. Always gets my hair looking exactly how I ask for and is a great conversationalist. Great atmosphere to the shop and very clean.

Fernando has been my go-to ever since they opened nearby. Wish I'd known the business sooner. He listens to what I want and makes it happen. I always leave there looking, smelling, and feeling like a million bucks. Don't waste your time and hard earned cash on other barbers.

Took my son here for a true gentleman’s experience and Marcus understood the assignment. He did a really great job showing my son everything he was using and has a great eye for detail. My son felt really comfortable and loves his haircut!

Going to The Gentlemen's Cutlery (TGC) is easily one of the best decisions I've made. I've been going for a few years now for good reason.

Fernando is an excellent barber with a laid back personality, but is sharp and pays attention to detail. Over the years I've come in with requests for kinda of different hairstyles & cuts, and he's always done exactly what I had in mind. If you're looking for someone to get you faded up right, it's him.

Also want to give a shout out to one of the other owners, Marcus. He's a solid guy who always has positive vibes. Definitely adds to good experience anytime I come in.

Don't pay advance online. The booking app takes a decent percentage from the barber and you.

This shop is the place to be if you want an elevated experience. Marcus was on time, professional and a master of his craft. I enjoyed a nice drink, while vibing to non profane music. Definitely a step above the rest.

Travys is awesome. Have been going to him for years. He's so good that I'll even drive 30 mins to be able to have him cut my hair. Knows exactly how to cut my hair without asking, everytime. Can't recommend him enough.

Travys is a master at his craft. Earned a new regular after the first visit. Every cut/trim has been an absolute home run. Fades and blends are on point. Crispy lines and never any razer burn hours later like I've experienced from other places. I have a couple minor alopecia spots on the back of my head which he cleverly worked with. Very chill dude too easy to chat with. I'm picky and loyal when it comes to finding a barber. Not a shed of doubt anyone would agree with me after their first visit.

Marcus hooked it up with one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten in a long time. So glad I don’t have to stress about where I’m gonna get a haircut anymore

I'm a little sad I don't live here in Sacramento, because Travys at Gentlemen's Cutlery is even better than my hair stylist at home, and he's never seen me before. Also a friendly guy and a terrific conversationalist. When I'm planning my next trip to town I will include a haircut by Travys on the itinerary!
