The Habit Burger Grill, Castro Valley CA

I ordered online to pick up. When I got there, my order wasn’t there. I asked about it and they said somebody must have taken it. They remade it and put tomatoes on it when I asked for no tomatoes. I took them off and it was a good sandwich though.

Worst customer service.bunch of people there but they take hella a time to make the orders. I think there need a person in charge there where they can work efficienly

So went there for lunch togo today march 12th husband asked for no tomato while he's eating finds one in middle of his burger he already swallowed some. He is allergic to tomato his throat instantly starts to itch. Please follow what people ask for this is very dangerous. Castro valley location

The food is very good but their curbside pickup stinks horribly. Every single time I’ve made an order for curbside pickup, the food sits there for over 20 minutes at least and no one comes and brings the food to my car. As if this wasn’t already bad enough, the order always has something wrong. Horrible service by far. I’ve never had this issue at other fast food places

Only thing is when I got the burger it was cool until I realize that the next day when I try to put it back in microwave it was all soggy they had oversaturated with so much tomatoes. I literally said no lettuce I didn’t expect for me to get a whole gram of tomatoes make no sense I should’ve got the money back

Customer service excellent vary helpful not to wait too long I usually order chicken grill sandwich and the Santa Barbara Cobb and my favorite sweet potato fries good size and delicious you feel that you are in heaven thanks to the HABIT in Castro valley

Good food, middling price, better selection than MacDonalds etc. Loud.

Edit: check your curbside pickup orders carefully. I was shorted a drink and a side last time. 4 stars -> 3 stars

Great place. Covid conscience folks and yet able to eat while keeping the "distance" required to feel safe while eating. Clean environment, friendly, tables out front. Pleasant experience, nothing negative to report.

They do not listen.ordered a santa barabara style with veggie Patty.got the order written right (charged me extra) and still provided veggie burger. Habit should open one more location in Castro valley

Although occassionally over cooked, the meal is always filling and delicious. Ive gotten chciken sandwhiches usuallly, have tried the breaded one, the clud and regular chicken sandwhich all good depending on how you feel that day.

You are able to half n half your side orders; fries/sweet fries, onion ring/fries, and a couple more.

Their fresh teas, ecspecially the ginger peach lime, is amazing and a must try.

And you cant go wrong with a burger from here, imagine burgerking, but fresh and juicy. Omg and the grilled onion and mushroom slices are so amazing, (slices of portabella, not the small button ones) not to mention fresh avocado, not the packaged mush like some places.

Overall, if i had not gotten a overcooked burger once, and a chicken club that the patty didnt fit half of the bread, id give 5 stars.

No way I am returning to the Castro Valley Habit burger. The app is not good. When I drove over for curbside pick up, it was not brought out. After watching for another 15 minutes, not seeing any employee activity, I went in. I asked if my order was ready. Food was cold and I paid for extra items that were not included.

We love Habit Buger! The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is that our coleslaw was warm (like it had been under a heat lamp) and our curly fries were soggy.

I really like Habit burgers. I really want to like the Castro Valley Habit. I have eaten a lot of Habit burgers. No way I am returning to the Castro Valley Habit burger. The app is not good. I used it, but it is irritating. When I drove over for curbside pick up, it was not brought out. After watching for another 10 minutes, not seeing any employee activity, I went in. I asked if my order was ready. The person at the front desk said, oh, look over there. I saw that the bag was there. No drink. I asked where the drink was and she pointed where the drinks were labeled. Not in the same place. I asked why this was not delivered to my car. The employee shrugged. I left with the food. Fries undercooked and limp and lukewarm. Burgers were all soggy and no longer good. These folks deserve to go away. Not another dime.

They won’t let you use the bathroom even though you are a paying customer. Only habit that does that

Update. Did what you guys told me and still not allowed to use bathroom

Horrible, slopped together and smashed burgers. Gave me my shakes 10 minutes before my burgers were done, completely melted by the time i drove the 5 minutes home. Bad meal all the way around.

Curbside order was left congealing on the carry-out table for 20m until I went searching for it. Don’t bother with curbside service — they can’t manage it.

This is the only "restaurant" I've been to during the pandemic that was able to quickly adapt and maintain high sanitary standards during these trying times.

Also, the food is A+
