The Habit Burger Grill, Oxnard CA

This location used to be our favorite. The quality of service has really changed and the place was dirty and staff unfriendly.: (

Order is wrong EVERY time. We always ask for a side of ranch, or extra pickles, etc. It's printed in red on our receipt. However, our order has been wrong every time. No ranch, no pickles etc. It's actually become a joke in our house, wondering whether The Habit will get it wrong again. On the flip side, the food is really good so we keep going back.

I guess don’t go during rush hour. Our buzzer went off and when my husband and I went up to get our food the young associate barely acknowledged us and gave us our food, no eye contact. I asked for a straw and she turned her head a handed me the straw. My husband asked for ranch and she literally threw the ranch in our bag. I work in customer service and no bad day or excuse can excuse her behavior.

Great food, reasonable prices, good service. I've been going to The Habit since I lived a few blocks from the original store in Santa Barbara. It's real food, served fresh, hot and fast.

The burgers were Great but my order was ALL wrong, 1 with just a patty/onions and 2 char with: tomato, mayo, lettuce and a pickle NO onions. I received the 2 char burgers with everything on it! At least the fries were.

A hamburger is a hamburger is a hamburger, right? For the most part, yes, but this quaint (and a bit hard to find) place has something going for it that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe it's the charbroiled flavored (beat's CJs any day of the week) ; the decent choice of salads (love the BBQ chicken) ; or the sweet potato fries. I recommend enjoying their eats while sitting outside.

Ordered lunch. 3 burgers and they forgot the patties on one.
I called to complain and they told me that I needed to go on the website and file a complaint.

Messed up my order and before I could be upset because of my time spent there the manager took care of me with burger coupons. That is great customer service

Can not say enough about how great the food is. My favorite is the Santa Barbara char and the avocado is always fresh! And everyone that works at The Habit is awesome, polite, friendly and always helpful!

The food is always great but I was in 1/22/23 around 12: 10 in the afternoon. The two girls in the front were rude. The cashier and the one assisting with giving out the food seamed more interested in making fun off customers and being short with them then doing their jobs. When i was ordering the cashier wasnt patient and seamed upset with me while i asked for different things. I also asked for ketchup and I got "it's over there" as she walked away irritated. I watched to see I'd it was just me but no they seamed ro just treat everyone like that. The was an obvious difference in how these two associates talked with one another laugh and how they would put on a annoyed uninterested face when talking with customers. I appreciate people who work food service, I've done it, but I'd you can't be friendly or had your customers then don't do food service. The place had people clearly working hard in the kitchen but the two girls in front ruins it. I won't be coming back as long as their serving

The food was good but i literally ordered a bbq chicken salad with extra bbq sauce on the side.and these mfs didn’t give me ANY bbq sauce.i had to use mcdonalds bbq

Burger quality has been steadily degrading ever year. Worse cheese, worse quality meat, removing sandwich option and replacing with worse options. Time to find a new burger place

Good food but dirty and the employees those girls wouldn't stop talking loudly about there personal lives standing around and are very lazy took way to long to get food there were about 6 of us customers complaining and 1 other thing when you're in the habit uniform u shouldn't be at a table making out with you're boyfriend. Not a good look personally if I were you're manager all of you would be FIRED!

Dude who hired these little kids to work here joking around and not even taking their job seriously. Just leaving the desk every 3 min to get soda and jacking around at their job. Damn Oxnard habit owners check your staff

Took 18mins from order to get my food, place didn't seem to be busy but food is not coming out fast. Saw one of the staff handling sweet potatoes fries with no gloves
