If you are looking for a place to have dinner and catch up with your friends this is not the place. We felt rushed from the moment we sat down. They favor their regular customers and miss the fact that they might be interacting with a new regular customer. The food was fine and the restaurant itself was nice. We picked it because we were meeting friends that we hadn’t seen in years and wanted a place we could actually hear each other and catch up. Really disappointed in the treatment and definitely will not be going back.

Great restaurant! Awesome service, delicious meals. Their mashed potatoes are too die for (and i say that as a person who thinks mashed potatoes are generally just fine). Outdoor seating is spacious and warmed too.

Food was good and no complaints about the ambience. However, I discovered an unauthorized tip a few days later (my server was Nic). This is the second time it has happened to me this month (first time was at a different restaurant). It's a good reminder to always keep a copy of your receipt until your credit card charge settles. I won't be returning with family and friends.

Seriously SUCH a great experience! The service and food were hands down the best I have had in as long as I can remember! I will definitely be returning and recommending! Now we just need one in the Oakley/Brentwood area!

What an amazing experience I had. Although I was not impressed by the cocktail, the location has a great atmosphere and the staff was super friendly. I recommend always making a reservation for this restaurant, I was there on a Tuesday night and the place was busy.

It was a nice place to hold our small party at nice indoors and outdoor setting and good service. The food was just okay but that's just my opinion

Highly recommended! This place was great all around. Service, music, food and overall vibe. I've taken my mom for lunch and my wife for brunch and both have rated it A/A+territory. They've got outdoor and indoor seating. Most of the outdoor seating has a nearby heat lamp. R&B and oldies were playing outside the two times I've gone and I loved it.

The food was excellent, the drinks were perfect, and the service was great.the restaurant was very clean and the waitress with rainbow glasses was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Was packed and I was relegated to wait as I wasn't one of their "preferred" regulars even though there were open tables and seats at the bar. The food was good and the Bartender was excellent. But the Hostess was wrong in handling me.

I have been wanting to try this place and when I was finally back in the bay, I made sure to make time for brunch. I really really really wanted to like it, but unfortunately it was a let down for me. I ordered the belgian waffles with chicken fried steak and a side salad, and my friend ordered the crispy pulled pork silog.

The waffle sandwich was meh. When eating out, food temperature is really important to me and my meal was barely warm, borderline room temp. You could tell all the components were made in advance and put together when ordered, not made to order. The chicken fried steak was also a bit tough. The salad my dish came with had good flavor, but overdressed which wilted the greens.

My friends dish was flavorful but there was nothing crispy about the pulled pork. Whatever crispy part could have been sitting in the gravy, so it made the texture one note.

I wanted to try the ube hotcakes but since our 2 dishes were a let down, we decided against it.

We had a reservation on a Friday evening for an outdoor table. I was looking forward to sit on their patio for the first time since they are always so busy. When we arrived, I saw some empty tables outside and I was sure one of them was ours. But the hostess took us to a table inside. I mentioned to her that I requested an outdoor table in my reservation, and she said "Oh, I don't know what happened. Let me find out. I'll be right back. " She never came back. Ugh. I ordered my dinner (the market fish) looking at the empty tables in the patio. The fish was inedible, the texture was like sand. And it was like 100 degrees inside. I will not go back nor will I recommend.

Incredible atmosphere. Gabe and the entire staff are amazing at their craft. Super recommended for that cozy feel, after the tunnel atmosphere that Oakland and SF can't provide.

Finally tried this place out and wasn’t disappointed. We had ordered the the waffle sandwich, French toast with Ube sauce, biscuit and brisket Benedict and classic Benedict. Also ordered the guava mimosa which was yummy as well.

We were seated pretty fast because we had gotten there right when they first opened. They have indoor and outdoor seating. On our way out though I saw there was quite an amount of people waiting to be seated. Staff was super friendly. Food was good. Now I wanna come back for lunch or dinner! There’s parking towards the back of the restaurant and street parking.

Excellent customer service. Wonderful ambiance. The atmosphere, wait staff, cocktails and food are delicious.

I walked and got seated at the bar. I ordered a lemon drop and the Clam Lunguini. Service was awesome. Prices are very reasonable and menu is minimal; which I appreciate.

If you're looking for a place to grab drinks with your girlfriends or a nive date nite thats budget friendly, Id definitely suggest you try this place.
