A tiny little spot to see real comedians plying their trade. A cheap way to spend a couple of hours seeing underground comedy.

I went here once for an open mic and now I'm a famous television and movie star. Highly recommended for people looking to become celebrities. 5 min on this stage and you'll never have to work again. 10/10

Amazing place and idea for comedians to practice old and new material, easy to preform your set and to-be supported by other comedians/comics… it’s one hour long shows in the slotted spots
and it’s mostly good writing and prepared sets. You can preform/practice from lunch time to midnight too on every hour annd also have you set taped too! Great spot! Great vibe! Great working comedian owner too who gets it! Yay!

If you’re a beginning comic looking for an open mic to work out any material, this is the perfect venue. Pro tip: do not be like everyone else and use your iphone on stage. Have some balls

Went for a spontaneous show,
The tickets where super affordable for a 2 and a half hour show.

Its a very quirky intimate space, the atmosphere feels so genuine.

They are working on getting a alcohol license, there wasn’t a place around to drink before a late showing.

Being stone sober the show was still very good!

If you’re someone anxious about crowd work i can only speak from my experience but the comedians I saw kept it light hearted and did a very good job at reading and interacting with the crowd, highly recommend!

Came here while visiting LA! This was my first time seeing a comedy show in person and it was definitely enjoyable.it was a little hot in there after a while but i only felt it towards the end of the night.also, they will include you in the show if you sit in the front row (whether that be roasting you or asking basic things about yourself to tie into their jokes). I didn’t mind it at all and it made me more immersed in the experience!

Haven't been there yet, and took one star off because of the "Comedians from X/Y/Z group & one gender only" kind of shows on their website, but the politically correct insufferable people rating the club with one or two stars makes me wanna go there.

Comedy clubs are one of the last few places where people can still speak unfiltered and freely. If you can't tolerate freedom of speech, and believe the speech that YOU HATE is hate speech, just stay home and watch Amy Schumer on Netflix or one of those painfully unfunny Late Night shows. Jokes are never meant to be taken seriously. Take your virtue signaling somewhere else.

Nice intimate, supportive room, great for first timers. Sometimes, mic is just closed for no reason.

You get a lot of show for 15$ these comedians are doing it for the love and not the profit. There not the best for sure I was the only one in the first row and they roasted me which was expected but the roasts weren't that good and it was hard to play off of me but they give you a lot of effort. One of them called me a jar head which wasn't original but it was 15$ well spent if you have the time. I would like to return shortly.

Ughhh. I went for an open mic. I'm a trans woman comedian. As soon as the show starts, the host started attacking the only other woman in the room, a black woman too, and then, oddly, for some reason, started attacking me and misgendering me and wouldn't stop despite my four requests until I yelled at him to stop. It was one of the most unpleasant and hostile environments I've been in, and the host also managed to ruin the room for all the acts because of his hostility. The acts were the usual range included one guy who made fun of a blind man in the audience - oooof. I don't mind tough crowds - most comedian guys are threatened by my humor to the extent I need to put a trigger warning in the beginning of my act for guys who are unsure of their masculinity - but this was just rude and stupid.

Writing this review with a heavy heart because I know it’s a small business and someone’s pride and joy, so I want to be as fair as possible when sharing my experience as someone who paid tickets to go (and as someone who frequents comedy venues at this exact ticket price range) :

The Good — the host was lovely and warmed the crowd for her comedians, which was so pleasant to see. It’s an intimidate venue where you could chat up the comedians after if you pleased. Parking is also plentiful on the street and in the grocery lot nearby (if you risk it, which we did for the 9: 30pm show).

The Bad — It is a super small venue. Having no windows is fine, I’ve been to comedy clubs without them, but the chairs are uncomfortable and I was aching to out of them by the 30 minute mark. They also were really crammed together. There isn’t really a bar, it’s more just cooler Kirkland drinks and beers, so drink before or after — don’t anticipate for great drinks at this venue.

The comedians the night we went were fine, some hit and miss, the hits were great. Good comedy doesn’t require ableist slurs and I hope it’s discouraged from the sets in the future.

Overall, I’d come back if the seating situation was improved. Being physically uncomfortable during the show, especially if you’re over 5’9, would suck.
